My Alva in melted marshmellow seems to have so much more rooting than this one. Rooting on mine also looks much darker. Wish mine looked like this but I do still love it.
Melted Marshmallow is a subtly warm dark sandy blonde blend with and light ash blonde tips and highlights and medium brown roots. While it isn't silver, it does have an ashy blonde, cool appearance with slight warmth. Weird question but what is your measurement from the top of your forehead to the end of your nose? I am 4 inches and if you are 4, then the bangs on the Alva should be perfect for me.

Melted Marshmallow is a darker sandy blonde with light ash blonde highlights and is slightly warm. Sugar Cane is a blended medium honey and ash blonde with platinum blonde highlights. Champagne is a beige blonde that is slightly warm. Overall the Champagne has more contrast than the others with its dark root and blonde length since it isn't mixed with any darker colors. The champagne has a dark root with the length being a mix platinum and golden blonde. The rooted version of Sugar Cane has a lighter and warmer root than the others which have a medium brown root. The Champagne and Sugar Cane are both more golden than the Melted Marshmallow.

Hi Lesley! Differences between each piece are very common. Manufacturers are allowed a 20% difference from piece to piece, and specifically the Alva tends to vary a lot in its consistency.
At first glance, my heart raced. I thought could it be that I've finally found "the one"? Then I noticed that it has a basic cap like most new releases. So I curled up in my ball and went back to sleep.
@@Tupelo_Honey77 Yes, I've had Haute, but like most Jon Renau wigs, it was too small for my head, and it didn't come in any colors I like. Of course the only JR colors I like are Sleet and Frost, and then those colors have to be on a wig with a bang, since JR doesn't highlight the front hairlines with the lightest color in the wig.
