If you don't live here in Arizona, then ya, I can see why you say that..but if you are really an actual "trophy hunter" ..no..they were pretty bulls..just not what a trophy hunter would shoot.
Me too but maybe they should have gone for the first opportunity to make the shot, when you don't take your chances, you will miss them along the line someday, my father's exact words.

Any one of those bulls would have been damn good first archery bulls. But I do understand it’s an Arizona Tag. You’ll have other chances in your future. Still just a young buck and many years and miles ahead of you. Great video! 👍🏽
Yea this on the res? Every single bull is huge compared to anywhere else in the country.. might be the biggest set of bulls in a single group at one time..filmed ever.... the fact these are considered "meh" is mind blowing.....should of stuck em all beside the broken antler.
not with all the damn music, it ruined the video. Real hunters don't want music plastered in it, we want to hear the stalking, cow calls, bugles, & the conversations etc., not guitars.

A rolled ankle would be an unfortunate thing and can happen to anyone. However I was a little confused about the blisters, the terrain was pretty tame considering the many places to hunt elk. Doesn’t seem like that should have happened, I would guess he didn’t properly break in his boots and gradually condition his feet.
I get what you are saying but what else do you want people to say? I archery hunt desert mule deer here in the az desert, it's basically my life.. I do struggle to say "I could have killed 8 nice bucks this year but I was chasing 2 giant bucks" bc for one it sounds cocky, and two I can't 100% say I would have killed them all..but when I put a stalk on one and have them at 30-40yds, I know that at the least..3 would be dead in my opinion..so all I have left to say is, I passed on a lot of bucks bc I wanted to kill 1 of 2 specific bucks. I'm ok with eating a tag if I can't kill the one I want..unless you are talking specifically about elk bc of the size and the fact that if everything isn't perfect, you may never find that elk.. but I still am not sure what else you would say when you decide not to shoot at something bc you want bigger?
I rolled my ankle five miles in one year stepping over a log. Hunted on it all week because what else are you going to do. Putting on and taking off my boot every day was a bitch as it was swollen huge. My ankle was black and buggared up for months after that hunt because i kept hunting.

I have never understood why a youtuber that is done with their hunt, and probably not get another tag for another 10 years or so, will not identify the unit they are in. Like sharing will ruin their chance of getting the next tag. Come on guys, share a little love with the fellows that asked what unit you are in. I already have my tag for 2023, so sharing is not a big deal.
It was fun to see all those Bulls but really did not care for this. All I was doing is getting frustrated myself watching all them big boys being passed up. Greedy. Sorry.
Why ruin an otherwise good video with music? This is a shame. Real hunters don't want or need that. Do you hunt with ear buds playing music? I don't think so... We want to hear elk & your communication, not some "Deliverance type" guitars. I know this is my opinion only, but you & others like you destroy sharing your experiences by insertingmusic into the video thinking you're motion picture directors etc. If I'd I wanted to hear music, I would listen to music, not watch hunting videos my friend. Personally I couldn't continue watching it & shut it off, & that's' a shame.

I've been In that hospital on an Elk hunt. My dad had a heart attack at camp and I drove him into Eager to be flown to Tucson.

AZ Elk tags don’t come along often enough for me to pass on bulls like that Haha, that was hard to watch. But great quality video. 🤙🏼
