Honestly, you killed your own channel Mike, your fabrication content used to be super interesting & then suddenly you were a reviewing & unboxing channel. This content is getting back to your old style but it won’t be for everyone as this is more woodworking& diy rather than metal fabrication ground up building.
Well you probably have no idea how involved the build series are to make on your own when holding down a full time job and having a family. Honestly I just couldn’t keep up, I never made enough on YT to go full time so I needed to still work my main job to provide for my family. I had to balance out my life and for me my family will always be far more important they a YT channel. So if I “killed my own channel” to provide for my family’s needs than so be it.

Mike; About a year ago I made my version of your magnetic stock holder. I used two aluminum plates sandwiching two squares plywood. I hollowed out the center for magnet and wiring space and used some dowels to press fit it all together. Everything else was assembled with your parts list and instructions. Thanks for checking out my new video! Yes I’m still compiling video footage and putting on more hours on my mini Excavator, definitely a good bargain back saver! I probably will get the first video up in a few weeks 😊👍
Mr Festiva, the build is looking great! Sorry I'm a few days late! I appreciate the detail you added to the roof. It's the little touches like that that make projects look professional, and for an extra few mins, or even hours, it's totally woth it! Man, I wish all drum brakes came like that 😂. TH-cam is super frustrating these days. Hopefully, you can keep sharing your builds with your fans. Editing is one thing, but filming takes time and effort too. It's hard for people watching to understand how much dang work it takes to put together a 20min video.
Thanks man! You definitely understand the YT thing, definitely a lot of time goes into making videos. Thanks for the support 👍😊 I definitely will keep making videos, I just may change up the way I make them and try to streamline the process and time spent on YT.
I think the biggest issue is TH-cam changed it's algorithm. So since your not consistent it's hard to get recommended. I've always loved your work. Been watching you for years. You do a project sometime that'll really get the juices flowing sometime. I'm the man time just keep doing what your doing. I've seen this happen to other channels and they do something project wise and it really hits. Then viewers go back and watch your other videos and find out what we already know about you. Chin up. Your doing this for you and yes it would be nice to get some income in so it takes some of the burden of these projects off. It'll happen in time. I'm the man time keep being you.
Mike, for what it's worth I truly enjoy your videos. Whether it's about milling, fabrication, playing with the bikes, whatever, I find it all interesting and enjoyable to watch. I for one was notified of your new video. Whatever you decide going forward I hope you'll still at least make the occasional video.
There is a form of tranquility about your videos. A laidback life style. It might not be the source of the "more, modern and faster lifestyle" - many are looking for. but it is definitely enjoyable. I can name you many channels that are your typical "concrete jungle productions" - but it will seem that I want to bash them. Which I don't, as they also fall in my extremely wide interest. I really hope you can find a way to persist with your videos, as they are really enjoyable. Thanx for sharing Mike.
Hey Mike I've, been a subscriber for a few years now. Started watching when you were doing the Quadtruck build. I found it very interesting and informative, making a piece of machinery from stuff available to you. Then came the articulated dump truck and mini Pinzgauer. Those were kick-ass. Your fabrication skills are top-notch, and I've personally learned alot from you. Your welding tutorial vids have been helpful as well. Also, my wife is getting all to used to hearing how badly I want a Kei truck now 😂 This series, even though its a bit of a departure from your usual content, I've been eating it up because I know next-to-nothing about carpentry or building a home. My wife and I have recently been forced to change our living situation. We've been provided a house as a result on a beautiful piece of property, but the catch is, we need to finish the renovations. The place is down to the studs on the inside, and the exterior needs help as well. My wife and I are both mechanics, and Im a welder. As I mentioned before, we're not carpenters. I guess all of this is to say, here I am learning even more off of you than I was before. I'm even thinking of making/purchasing a mill. I know I'm only one guy that you've never met, but you're helping me along on my journey, and I'm thankful. Your content might change here and there, but I'm personally with it. You're a knowledgeable, down to earth guy that presents his videos with alot of good vibes. You also make seemingly huge, unobtainable projects appear doable to the everyday DIYer. I know you've been discouraged with the way the algorithm is handling your channel, I just really hope you're not considering shutting it down. I don't receive the notifications anymore, but I still check your page weekly for new content. I hope you keep at it, because I'm glad you're here. If there's one thing I do miss is the random drum breakdowns. How about some blastbeats in the cabin when it's done?? I bet the acoustics would be perfect for it 🤘 The hell with the naysayers and the negativity. You do great stuff, man. Keep with it.
I rarely get notified of your new videos. Seems as if YT is always recommending content that I have zero interest in watching… it’s sad to say the least. Mike’s videos really helped me get into welding.

Hey Mike, I enjoy your content! Excellent fabrication skills. Just wanted to recommend a 1.5" gap between your ridge pole and roof deck so when you put in your vent baffles you have proper air flow from your soffits to ridge. I started watching to learn welding, but I love all your videos! When I found out you live in WA (me too), it made me love your content even more! 😊 I have been getting recent notifications, but there were times no too long ago I was not notified and had to go looking for your newest video. I try to remember liking all your videos. Does commenting help at all? And if so, does commenting on older videos make a difference? Thank you for sharing your life and knowledge with us!
Thanks man! I really appreciate it, yes 👍 up and commenting YT says will help at least 2 years ago they said it boosts the algorithm but I do wonder sometimes if it does anymore? I have had a few videos get 3X the comments then other videos but they still ramp down the views around 10K and then views almost completely stop.

We appreciate your efforts Mike . Could sure use some of your excess rain over here in eastern Australia mate.
Guys like you make youboob a decent place to learn and get inspiration
Thanks Bob! I really appreciate it 😊
Keep doing what you do. There's always something I learn from your videos. Thanks Mike.
Thanks man! I definitely appreciate the support 👍😊
Any interaction helps. Even on older videos.
I will not only leave a comment, I shared this one on Facebook as well. Please keep making videos.
Mike, I subscribe to a lot of channels. Yours is one of the few that I specifically have notifications turned ON. I really like the build content. Have to say I probably will not try duplicating all your builds but I always learn something that I can apply to my own. Don’t get discouraged and keep up the great work.
Thanks man, I really appreciate it!
I will keep on making videos, thanks for the kind words 😊
Definitely keen for some more videos on this series! Awesome work
Thanks 😊
Great job on that mini cabin Mike, looking forward to see the review on the mini excavator and watching you mill and install the siding on your cabin.
Thanks Tom! Sorry it’s taken me so long to comment back, I posted the video when I was out of town with the family then straight back to work for the week, just now getting back the the early comments.
Enjoying the build, and you music selection as always.
Thanks 😊
I really appreciate it 👍
Love the content Mike, very relaxing music and editing. Looking forward to the minitruck camper cell construction feedback. Love the building and machinery stuff! Cheers from France.

Project is looking great. Oh to hearken back to the days when there was enough energy to work and do projects on the side! Keep up the good work.
