If everybody who saw this actually knew what they were watching this video would get 1:1 views to likes.

So which one is the instructor?

@Piete Koo The trailing bike with the camera is the instructor, they stay on the correct line the whole time and afterwards they take the student/lead bike in to review the video, going in to EVERYTHING through every inch of the track, from track conditions to bike geometry to every possible rider input to electronic controls to how it all translates directly to the street as well and much more. 3 days with them was the most invaluable thing I’ve ever done with my riding and I know exactly where I need to go from here to master it. If you can hook up with YCRS...do it. (Then do it again)! 💪

Thanks. Can you explain when do people decide to do these track days. I have watched a few videos and it seems interesting, but I want to know wether these are people who are motorbike racers or just ordinary day to day riders who wants to experience how it would be to race.
Secondly, the motorracing drivers usually has a background of competing in go carting from a very young age. Is there similar competitions in biking for youngsters?

@@pietekoo5559 Many did get their start on mini and/or dirt bikes when they were younger but they all have different origin stories. Some even started with their first-ever riding experiences as students of YCRS. Every instructor YCRS takes on is by invitation only and they don’t ask anyone who isn’t a racing champion because that’s exactly what they promise...how to ride faster, safer, exactly like the best in the business do it, and directly from the champion’s own mouth. The instructor team they had at Inde Motorsports Ranch in Arizona last week was made up of all US and International circuit champion racers. They’re the best at what they do and they pretty much take turns beating each others’ track records. They don’t have a single coach that hasn’t held the top of the podium. They teach you everything...so much. I never imagined I would learn as much as I did about the bikes, let alone step by step, inch by inch, second by second, how the best racers in the world dissect the track, apexes, body position, weather...literally everything. Also, many YCRS graduates have gone on to become legit racers who win championships, and then get invited to stay on with Yamaha Champions Racing School as instructors. I can’t speak for any other programs but after spending 3 full days with this crew I wouldn’t dare take instruction from anyone else. First, there isn’t anything that anyone else could possibly teach you that these guys don’t cover extensively, but also there’s SO MUCH bad/dangerous advice out there and I wouldn’t put my life in the hands of people who aren’t the best ever again. It was a lot of work undoing 15 years of bad habits that I adopted after getting horrible advice early on in my riding career. I still have work to do, BUT I know exactly what that work is and what it feels like to do it correctly. The simplest way to put it...if you learn under YCRS there’s absolutely no reason to go looking for answers anywhere else.

@@CaaSh421 Thanks for the extensive reply. I am but a weekend once a month rider having started riding only at age 18. I find it enjoyable watching videos of guys (and girls) going to trackdays, the help they receive in setting up their bikes etc. etc. Thanks again. Ride safe. Stay safe. God bless.

That seemed like an unsafe pit in by the lead rider
