Cool car. Funny phone in fridge. Good memories. I remember 30 min tagine way back lol good luck if 3 hours as nowadays they reward you for going in shop. I feel similarly with pizza hut when the damn delivery is more than the pizza I buy, even without redeeming. Can oddly enough price compare with other delivery apps if rewards aren't within reach.
This is great because I remember a joke from an episode where Chief Wiggum puts a pizza sign on his car to disguise it and Lou says "Chief, what if they like pizza?" and Wiggum says "Way ahead of you", then puts a Dominos sign on it.
0:33 - I looked it up; that clip was from the infamous "The Principal and the Pauper" episode (the one with the fake Skinner), which Matt Groening himself said in the intro to the Season 9 DVD box set was one of his least favorite episodes of the series. There was another episode, "I (Annoyed Grunt)-Bot", where Chief Wiggum disguises his police car as a pizza delivery car to lay low from a motorcycle gang. Officer Lou asks him, "But Chief, what if they like pizza?", to which Chief Wiggum says "Way ahead of you, Lou!" and puts up a sign that says "Dominoe's". Since Domino's was a sponsor of the Sky One broadcast of The Simpsons from 1998 to 2008, that gag was censored, since it wasn't a good idea to bite the hand that fed them. (Similarly, Bart had to write "I will not bite the hand that feeds me Butterfingers" in the opening credits of "Half-Decent Proposal" after delivering a mean-spirited gag to Butterfinger two episodes earlier in "Sweets and Sour Marge".) The Domino's gag was later seen uncensored when Sky One swapped to HD prints of "I (Annoyed Grunt)-Bot".
@@MissileLaneE Before Sky became massive, BBC could actually afford US TV. Sky bought up all the rights in early 2000s and the BBC was crap forevermore.
I remember those Domino's Pizza sponsorship stings from when I was a youngster, my family never ordered anything from Domino's but I enjoyed the stings anyway, depending on what variation they are. My mother used to watch Coronation Street and the Cadbury's 'Chocolate Street' sponsor stings would come on. Those stings were introduced in 1998 when Domino's signed a sponsorship deal with Sky. I was rather disappointed by early 2009 when Domino's stopped sponsoring The Simpsons on Sky One after their deal ended.
When Channel 4 snapped up the terrestrial rights of the Simpsons from the BBC in November 2004. Domino's rival, Pizza Hut sponsored The Simpsons on Channel 4 from 2004 to 2005.
I remember these used to be my favourite thing as a kid my mum ordering dominos and watching the simpsons while eating

What if they like Domino's?
Did it have the little product placement P at the start of the episode?
It was actually removed in airings on Sky One because of the Sponsorship.
Thank you so much for uploading This brings back fantastic memories when I used to watch the simpsons on skye one in the 2000 When I was 10 years old
I remember those. I saw them when I was a kid like ten years old. I haven't seen them for about over 20 years since I was a kid.
I remember those very well. They were even on when the 'Simpsons 10th Anniversary' was being shown.
II also remember this advert 24 years ago I use to watch the simpsons on sky and I remember seeing this exact sponsorship advert
Same
I fully believe that Homer would have a guy modify his phone to have a Domino's call button.
This was a nice throwback. Lots of memories unlocked here.

That's some good trivia. Has anyone preserved the censored version on TH-cam or elsewhere? Would be fun to see that.
I only every watched the Simpsons on channel 4 at 6 o clock, didnt know these were a thing. Also good to see telly history being preserved
I'm old enough to remember The Simpsons and other quality American TV shows on BBC 2.
They were sponsored by Pizza Hut on C4 and Domino's on Sky One

@@cattysplat Sky only bought certain things "just because they could"
Sky One Sponsor By Dominos Pizza 🍕:

Had to watch an ad to watch this ad
Yeh, sorry about that. These days, TH-cam will still put ads on videos even if the channel's not monetised.
Missing the Hell one. As in, Domino's delivers a Pizza to the Devil in Hell. Yes, it's real.
Featuring the voice of Chris Jarvis.
0:43 That is one overworked guy, with that slow and laboured movement. Or possibly an android.
Where did you get the 1st one from?
Chief what if they like pizza?
I got it figured out Lou (puts dominoes sign over pizza sign)
Awesomeness!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
