Well, as an OG Brawl Stars mathematician nerd, let me correct some stuff. The fallbacks for brawlers are:
- Rare: 100 Credits
- Super Rare: 200 Credits
- Epic: 500 Credits
- Mythic and Legendary: 1000 Credits
Legendary is 2000

@@fishslap8762 its confirmed to be 2000 since the fallback rewards of the mythic rarity and the legendary rarity cannot be the samesince legy is rarer, also a legendary starrdrop never gives you credits unless its a fallback reward. i did get 2000 credits from a legy drop before since i had every single legendary brawler

Remember when bonus rewards gave 145 coins before star drops were a thing, that gave about 7 times more coins than todays bonus rewards
And you needed like a fifth of the coins from today
They removed that because they were adding starr drops so they reallocated the rewards from there to daily starr drops, (this was a buff to everyone in progression, don't use the bad luck excuse)

This is a purely mathematical stance, but a starr drop's value also includes that very exciting feeling of getting something special that you really wanted for a long time from just 1 special legendary drop. It can be a hypercharge, a brawler, a skin, or something else. For me, it was getting Haunted House 8-Bit (I always wanted that skin since it released, but there was always a skin i wanted more).
You're not gonna remember all those starr drops that gave you 50 or 100 coins because those weren't nearly as important.
If you only care about coins/powerpoints (like me) then 1 starr drop is worth around 2.37 gems and a legendary starr drop is worth around 35.73 gems
Considering these values supercell really gave us 237 gems for free during the 100 starr drops event which is still unbelievable 😅
what are you using as ref for the coins value tho?
if you use the hyper charge at 80 gems (62,5 coins/gem) starr drops are 1,7 gems aprox
@spiked146 true but realistically you aren't gonna exclusively buy hypercharges which is why i took the 38 coins per gem reference since it's about average

So for everyone (like me) not having Draco yet, but all the others you do: rn your credit value for legendaries is ALMOST DOUBLED
Fr fr I now almost get credits everytime but when I had to unlock someone it was rare to get even 25 credits

like the coins drop 5 time so you divide by 5 bc it feel wrong to not divide like
you get 1 coins %20 and 2 coins %20 and etc
you do 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 15
15/5 = 3 on average or it is just because the chance are not equal
1:47 if you want the objective value for a single starr drop shouldn't you be getting the average of each rarity rather than the total?

Of course, but there is still a small issue. Star powers and gadgets can be worthless. What are you supposed to do with the shelly dash gadget? What about the frank +1200 hp star power?
the frank 1200hp star power can be useful in solo showdown high trophy when playing defense
If you have all brawlers unlocked starr drop costs 4 gems, mega boxes costed 80 gems, 20 times more gems and NOT 20 times more resources
Therefore, khm-khm, starr drops are better
Honestly I'd rather take coins or power points over a trash rare pin in a legendary starr drop.

Hey shiu, don't you think power points from mythic is a scam?
Because look at rare to epic, the power point to coins ratio is 1:2
Rare gives 25 power points to 50 coins
Super rare gives 50 power points to 100 coins
Epic gives 100 power points to 200 coins
WHEREAS
Mythic provide 200 power points to 500 coins. Its not in 1:2 ratio (its triggering me hard)
So what's the solution? Buff power points to 250 or nerf coins to 400.

This video is inaccurate, you forgot that gadgets, star powers and hypercharges convert into 500, 1000 and 1000 coins respectively, so you used the wrong values. Also powerpoints have no use after you upgrade all brawlers to 11, so you could have excluded them.

depends on what you use as reference. He used the gold offer, but if you use the hypercharge offer star drops are 1.7 gems each if you only care about powerpoints and gold.
