@@zeredj57 well, he has won multiple Pro tours (I know, I know, promotional tour), and is inducted into the hall of fame. Aside from that he is an accomplished poker player with pretty substantial lifetime winnings, so at the very least he is, in fact, a professional card player, even if you don't want to give him the MTG "professional" title (which I would)
I played a ton of the timeless metagame challenge that weekend, the first round was almost always a bye, a free win versus a starter deck. I think this is because of the low cost of entry so new players would just join willy nilly. One run i even got 3 standard decks in a row lmao.
