Hi Audrey, I saw the thumbnail for "I built my own touring bike" this morning and have now watched 3 of your vlogs. You are now my favourite bicycle touring channel! The main reason is you don't feel the need to talk all the time/at all and just let the viewer see what you see and hear what you hear - this I like very much. You don't feel the need to put yourself constantly in the frame and allow the viewer to see what you see - not that I object to seeing you, you understand but most vloggers constantly put themselves front and centre ALL the time. I want to see the subject matter, "the Balkans", not the Balkans with the vloggers face blocking the view! I like that the music is not overwhelming and is at the right volume so you can still hear the sounds that are occurring naturally on the video - birdsong, wind, tyre noise etc. I like that you like nature and show all these quirky things like dead woodpeckers, fungi, insects, the mouse eating a seed + you like things like cemeteries, I often wander around cemeteries looking at the dates on the tombstones - you can learn a lot about places and times by reading tombstones. I also like fresh markets and like to see how different peoples and cultures display their fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, cheeses and preserved meats, bread and pastries - I spend so much time when I'm travelling wandering around fresh markets especially in Asia and Africa. So thank you for your videos, keep travelling and keep enjoying yourself.
Thanks you Paul, that's a very Nice comment. What you describe is exactly the purpose of my videos. I want to show the experience of bicycle touring. Besides that, I'm a performer and not a talker. Some people only Just talk whil they do nothing. Comments like yours keep me motivated in making the videos. 👍
When i take a short walk, i lock my bike and gear on a gate or tree. When i want to take a serious hike, i leave my bike at a campsite...also locked on a gate or tree.

Why have I never come across your work before. I love the speechless aspect ; it allows the pictures to shine.inspiring

@@audreytracks you're welcome.
Incredible!
What do you do with your bike when you're hiking and such? Lock it and hope for the best? Anyhow outstanding video.
