" but the main point is Teamwork" there are 11 players on each side and each of them contributes to the game and are equally important. it is not one man show and never will be. a team can't play with just only 2 or 4 players.it is a team sport. Indian Football Team lacks team work, and mindset like this makes them a weak low ranking team.
in football what you are doing when you dont have the ball is far more important when you have the ball, positioning, emptying spaces, waiting for the other team to reach a distance so that you press, making a run to pull a defender to make space for another teammate, switching positions and a lot more is there. if we think in all those perspectives the way we see football changes. this is when we realise that midfielders rule the game for most of the part.

I experienced the same when i went for football coaching....The whole session will be without the ball ..like jogging , sprinting , 30min running, exercises....etc..... qt the u will get 10min for playing with the ball ....
Wish FIFA rules did not stop him from playing the English leagues earlier in his career. This training, consistency and determination would have been nice to see in the English leagues and would have made him an even more stronger idol for Indian players and kids to look up to.

AIFF said they are going to train 25 players together for the whole year with the best facility and they are going to compete against senior and foreign players .
