Hey! I hope you enjoy this video. :) I know these cards require specialty dies. I don't show products like this often, but sometimes they are worth sharing. :) If you are looking for interactive cards that DON'T require speciality sets, check out this play list! th-cam.com/video/9MmyIZP06eA/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for showing this interactive die! I love Lawn Fawn's does! Kelly does such an amazing job designing them. Your cards are lovely and have inspired me to have a go at my own. ❤
I don’t mind the specialty dies from Lawn Fawn because they always try to maximize what you get in those sets. Because of that, the value seems to be there. (Some other companies do not make me feel that way.) You made great samples and made it look very straightforward. Thanks for showcasing this die set.🌺
I love these interactive dyes. I love the cards you made with them. I did stick with you through the whole video and I enjoyed it. Thank you so much. 🥰😊👍
The instant you suggested making a draft example card to refer back to for assembly, I started paying more attention. I haven’t purchased this die set yet but if it came with a sample I could look at & touch it would make a world of difference & I would be much more likely to invest. I know you don’t make the die set but those who do follow you so just a suggestion. ❤
Wonderful! I just discovered this die set (9/2024), and I made my first one today. I wish I’d seen your video before I started! Now my next ones will be much better. Thank you so much. You are a gem. Hugs to you.
LOVE Theatre cards! Made 60 of them for my Christmas cards with black with silver glitter stripes paper and inserted a white glitter scene of pine trees and deer. Was bea-u-ti-ful and the recipients LOVED the interactive theatre (drapes) opening! Then added the message to the back of the card.
Oh my goodness...I appreciate you so much. Using the different colored cardstock for the first, practice one was super helpful... it made it easy to see and easy to understand which piece you were talking about... brilliant. Your cards are so great... love them! That owl is soooooo cute!
Oh this diorama die must make your engineer heart sing! Seriously you would make a fabulous teacher of littles. Always the BEST clear instructions and at a wonderful pace. Your videos are my favourite way to relax.
You and Lawnfawn are my favorite card making channels to watch so seeing you make videos with their products makes my heart happy. I'm always excited when you feature on their channel
Excellent ideas, Jennifer! I just ordered this die set today & can’t wait to play w/ my ideas. Thanks to u, I have even more great ideas. Thank u so much for sharing ur talents & amazing ideas w/ us. 😉🥰
Best tutorial ever! Thank you Jennifer for explaining so well how to use the die set. Just ordered a set and looking forward to use it. I find your videos extremely useful as I am new to the craft. Best wishes from Ireland!😊
One of the things I love the MOST is how you show at the start all the pieces in different colors that we'll need!!! LOL Thank you so much!!! It makes it so much easier!! I am loving this set so much!!
Jennifer McGuire- all I can say is YOU ARE AMAZING!!! Your creativity and incredible intellect REALLY shine though on all your videos, but WOWEEEEE this one is SPECTACULAR! Only you could come up with these ideas. THANK YOU for always teaching us such fabulous tips and tricks. BTW-as a retired teacher I just have to say you are a gifted instructor. ❤️
It's always a treat for me when I see you have a video using Lawn Fawn products. These cards are both adorable and I hope this die appears in future videos. Thank you for the inspiration.
I am attending my nephew’s wedding in a few weeks & thought this would be great with a front heart die cut & mr/mrs inside. Adding the holder for a folded money would be the final touch. Ordered already; fingers crossed I get it in time to make for them! (I have a back up already, but this is special.) Thanks for the wonderful inspiration, Jennifer. You can always be counted on. 😊
This gives me some inspiration for using the Spellbinders Make a Scene dies that I have. They work on the same principle, but they make a 5x7 size card. I've had them in my stash for a while and keep meaning to use them.
Just beautiful 😍 I attempted a theatre card and found a few things that were important to integrate into the creation. One, the card stock should be 120gm for stability and strength for the mechanisms. Two, the glue used should not be water-based or gel as it curls and deforms a lower weight gm card stock. I recommend using double side tape glue. Thirdly, the inside slide mechanism should be 140gm card stock, or it will bend when closing the card. Thanks for reading my comment 😊
I had to have this die set. I love interactive dies and this one is so easy. I just now saw your video, I didn't know you did one with it so I am glad to see that you did. They are all lovely.
Absolutely the most Beautiful interactive cards I have seen in a long time. I love how you made the templates in different colors in the beginning to help us understand the parts, that was very smart of you for it definitely helps! I have dies that are interactive like this but after I bought them, I have been intimidated by them so I have not used them yet but after watching your video, I am going to do what you suggested and that is to do the templates first. Thank you Jennifer for another Fabulous, informative video and no it was not too long, actually the time fly by. Pura Vida from Costa Rica 🇨🇷
OMG! Love it! These a beautiful cards … completely sold now on this die! Interactive cards are intimidating but you make it so easy. Thanks for the inspiration!❤
I love when you do cards with the interactive dies. I always come back to your videos for these in particular --- you teach it all so well and make is so easy to follow. 💕
Jennifer, thank you for another excellent video! I just ordered my Ta-Da Diorama and Hillside Add-on yesterday. I can't wait to try them out! I'll be looking for more of your creative ideas for the diorama. Thanks again!
I have been unmotivated for the past few months with my card making. I am so excited again to do something with a challenge to it. Thanks Lawn Fawn and Jennifer for inspiring me !
I've been struggling with a decent idea for Christmas cards this year, Your idea just gave me the incentive to start them!! Thanks soooooo much for sharing this!!
Such fantastic ideas for stepping up this die set!! AND..... I always 'stay with you' until the end of your videos!!! Thank You for always delivering for us.
Thanks for this wonderful tutorial Jennifer. I always appreciate when you make these interactive cards because my brain doesn't comprehend reading the instructions but your demonstrating the process is so helpful for my brain, so thanks again. I am thankful you are in our world. Stay safe. 🇨🇦
Other seasonal dies from my stash can work with your brilliant diorama bundle, and I can see adding many more holiday dies from my stash. I had the Lawn Fawn box card dies from several years ago, and these are updates to that wonderful bundle. Thank you for showing various ways to stretch our collections!
I love this die and got it yesterday when it was released. What you did inspired me to get out a older die of a stitched pumpkin to put on the front and I will check out my other dies for magic iris cards. My other favorite interactive die is the pop up platform card. So easy to use for all kinds of cards. Hope your shoulder is feeling better.
Great tutorial. Your cards are always so classy. I have a tip, lmk what you think. First card on the "I" bridge when you changed your mind, feed "I" thread through (right for example) from outside right, then just feed the left from inside. Does that make sense?
So cute! I finally did one of your techniques & it worked out totally terrific. It was coloring acetate to make a stain glass and place glitter paper underneath. I needed darker copies or more saturated colored ones. TYSM! It’s my b-day card from my college daughter!
I so appreciate this tutorial Jennifer! Great demo on using this super cute, interactive card! It makes me feel like I could actually build it. Such cute cards! Thank you.
Hi Jennifer, great examples. The mechanism dies that I have seen before to make this diorama is by the brand Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott and is called Slide and Reveal. They come in 5" x 7" or 6" x 6" sizes. It is exclusive to Craftstash. It's great that there is a choice of sizes for different sized cards.
That tiny owl is soooo cute! It reminds me of a super small owl that nested in my yard when I was in college. It was only about 4-5 inches tall and fully grown, so it was definitely smaller than a pumpkin…oh my goodness, now I need that set, too! Gah!
Well, the wreath card with the gift card inside is terrific. The leaf card is fantastic! That second layer on the front of the leaf card is really necessary with that small margin around the leaf. Without it, I can just imagine people ripping the card when they open it. As usual, you foresaw this problem and solved it. My mind is humming with ways to use this die. Snow globe die with snow scene inside. Or pretty die with Nativity scene inside. I am so excited! Thank you so much for showing us how to use this die. You always make the instructions so clear, we just know we can do it!
Oh, Jennifer! What a terrific video! So helpful for putting together this interactive die set. (Great idea to first do it using plain multi-color card stock.) Long video = lots of examples. I can work with that. And I look forward to seeing the even more examples you mentioned. Thank you for sharing your innovative and talented self with us. ♥️
Another great tutorial! Thanks so much for using the different colors so that it is easier to follow along with the construction. Also, making a "practice" version and storing with the dies is a great tip!

This would be so cute if you made it look like a window with shutters that opened so you were looking outside! Love these so cute and interesting
That would be adorable!
Or make it look like you're outside looking in.

… This is incredible, Jennifer… You always have the most imaginative visuals.
‘Saving this one for future reference!
I love this type of card. We have always called them theater cards. I’ve never used a die to make one.
Another great tutorial! Thanks so much for using the different colors so that it is easier to follow along with the construction. Also, making a "practice" version and storing with the dies is a great tip!
