    I discovered your channel today and I gotta say you are a great instructor + photographer. Your subjects are well thought and very relevant to people with a mind to learn about lighting. You express concepts very well, your visual materials are so pleasing to observe and a great example alongside your instruction. This almost feels like a paid photography class :D !

    I really like your videos and your photos
    could you suggest me? I come from street photography and now I want to dedicate myself to food photography. I have a little money that I want to invest in a study that allows me to work comfortably and well. I have a softbox 80x100 and a stripbox 20x90 (and maybe a bigger one) I wonder what lights I need to illuminate with good quality ... I thought about buying 2 godox V860II (for the same price they could be x4 tt685 but they use aa batteries and not se), or maybe x1 v860ii and an AD200? the V1 seems that on certain shots with a lot of power it overheats and does not work ... if you could give me some advice, thanks

    I see you use Capture One. Why not LR and/or PS? What is Capture One’s strongpoints?

    • @figandlight
      @figandlight  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you!
      I actually started using Capture One not too long ago, I've been a heavy lightroom user for years, but since using Capture One I've been loving the heavy customization with Capture One, especially the color profiles, the way it renders contrast, and the ability to tether through their live view function is amazing.
      With that said, I don't think it's any better than LR or PS in terms of features or performance or anything like that. I believe it really depends on where you're at in terms of skill and the type of demands you have in your professional workflow. Capture One just happens to fit my needs, which was a surprise because I only wanted to try it out, but ended up loving it a lot.
