Sonam first thought that guy speaking in the radio was praising her whereas he was actually praising Masaba & then started out with Sonam 😂😂😂😂

Stop asking questions to Masaba about being illlegitimate child . It was not up to her but her parents, Her Mother suffered enough for her decision. And now Masaba is legitimate mother and Wife herself.

So glad to know that she is so sane, I would throw that tape recorder. And Sonam is so VAPID and SHALLOW nothing to offer... adding empty "oh no. oh my god" - so spoilt. Not insecure? I wish she had gotten the chance to talk more without any interruption from that irrelevant so called actor who thinks she acts and who think she is not ignorant and insecure! Masaba is so down to earth.. actually both these women have very contrasting personalities so it was great to watch them talk.
They say the cost of wisdom is innocence..masaba is wise beyond her years because of whatever she faced while growing up where as Sonam is very innocent probably because of a more privileged and sheltered upbringing.nevertheless both are kind souls.Thanks to film companion for this episode.

The moment when masaba is being introduced and sonam thinks that the it is she who is being described!! Sonam has a long long way to go..lacks maturity and masaba is exactly the opposite. So refreshing although the questions put to masaba could have been so much more focused on her career and achievements
Masaba i feel for her her birth circumstance always comes up in interviews but she is always gracious about it. You go girl i love you and admire you and you are beautiful if it were me i would have left that nartow minded country eons ago.

Ok, so Masaba is really intelligent and coherent with how she expresses it. Sonam keeps repeating - "patriarchal", "misogyny", regressive", these words everywhere. She wants to sound intelligent, but all we can hear is - blah blah blah. And finally someone had to tell Sonam to "dress down". I mean, she talks about being an "idol" for women and girls, but I have NEVER EVER embrace simplicity in real life. As for reel life, she has no choice but to go along with the vision of directors to suit the part! I wish Masaba was paired opposite someone of her calibre. And yes, eagerly waiting for Kangana and Naseer Ji's conversation.

it is only common sense to have 2 parents, for emotional support, financial support and help when you get sick, 2 parents to entertain/ teach / care / savings for your child...the child benefits.
Sonam has acted in very few films to start with and among those only two are reasonably good. And she acts as if she is the creme de la creme. Chill Sonam.

Everything u said about the ordeal in life is the true india which everyone shy's away or just feel is not important to address. I'm one among st those hundreds n thousands who were proudly called " kalia, madrasi..." n wot not so the plight of tht terror is well understood. Your mother is a gr8 actor & ur father is a legend, need not say more why u are who u are, wish you all the more luck n success.

Both Ranjhana and Neerja were bigger hits already. And she was praised the most for these two films. The directors chose her and they have better knowledge in the craft than anyone else. Moreover, she got a special mention for Neerja at the National Film Awards too FYI

I'm a black Brazilian woman and it's always so weird watching all this discussion on black skin always led by people way fairer than me. Can't imagine what I would go through living in India.
Carolyne believe me it’s terrible, if you go to South you will blend in as most of them are dark but other part of India particularly the northern belt it’s not easy... in my family my brother and one cousin are just two shades darker than all of us and not a single day goes by when people don’t comment about it especially my sister saying who will marry her? And what not, I hope India changed but it’s not happening any time sooner... the favorite discussion of lazy aunties afternoon conversation is whose daughter is the prettiest the fairest, I’m so glad I don’t live there and my daughter who is a teenager now has become tanner because she plays lacrosse in her high school and my mother in law biggest worry is she is getting darker day by day and I’m not taking care of her skin... so my dear if you are not so sensitive and don’t care what people says and just want to experience the beautiful culture and exquisite food and places do visit India if not stay where you are loved and respected
