But if you see evolution dark skin is less likely to get damaged from UV or get old. So people with dark skinned people can look younger longer compared to light skinned people. Good interview. But Barkha why would you need those headlines and one-liner flash in your programs? We arent so silly an audience that we need these 'cues' to grasp or appreciate what's being discussed or be baited into clicking and viewing it. Or are you trying to commit it to your audiences' memory that boys checked Masaba's shorts to ridicule her? Lol. It's just nice to hear it plainly and people-to-people they connect to one's story. If I may, I suggest doing away with these TV-like practices. Wish you good luck with your channel.

I didn’t know who Masaba was until I saw the show on Netflix.. as an American woman of African descent, I could immediately identify with Masaba. To me this was a black woman living in India, she looks like many of my friends and family. I have this fascination with Indian culture... I think it is so beautiful and vast. However, i think Indian culture is sort of closed off to people of African ancestry. I work with Indian people who won’t even speak to me. I believe it is because I am a black woman. I can only imagine the hell Masaba experienced. It’s good to have someone who is both Indian and of African descent be represented in the media ...ie Kamala Harris. ✌🏾and ❤️

Trust me, I sympathize with your situation. You must understand that Indians have never been introduced to Africans in the first place historically, so they look at them with shock and when they look at white people with awe or fascination, that's just due to colonial hangover. Interaction with Africans needs to begin in the first place.

Bullying is not humane..... It takes humanitarianism to accept them as they are,..... It's also important to let them know their background in order to discipline them..... but their mother specially, must give them the best upbringing within their means.....on that ground actress Nina Gupta has done a good job... Masaba is well brought up & Neena has done wonders in not allowing the bullying effect her psychology much.......

India's racism is far worse than any in any democratic country and that's just a fact. Keep up the good work you and your mum are doing, Masaba and hope you're always surrounded by the best people who always have your back at the best and worst of times. You are beautiful and attractive. God bless you!

There is no such thing as racism in India, very few people understand the psychology of Indians on skin colour. It's very astonishing and beautiful. Sad people/sadists always find unreal flaws in people. The interviewer govinda ji is a sadist

Honestly, why would people treat her like that? I would have asked her out on a date had I been in her school or college. She is an attractive woman.

In the Caribbean so many people who are monoracial and mixed race that we literally don’t gaf. You’re just a person. And these same people would go to Australia and complain about being treated like shit because they aren’t white. That is so odd to me.
