Congratulations on your first year in Spain and all the great content you've both shared along the way. As someone who is also new to Asturias and Spain, it's been great discovering your channel and seeing someone share similar experiences and how it contrasts with a local perspective. With regard to appointments and the bureaucracy in general, I completely agree. Having to schedule everything is frustrating enough, but then waiting weeks, or sometimes months, makes it so much worse lol. Looking forward to another year (and beyond) of your videos and seeing what you two share next, especially the food related content you've got planned. With persistence, I have no doubt the channel will continue to grow. Keep it up!
Thank you very much!! We are really thankful for your support and this amazing comment, really, that kind of things make us try harder and we will try to create better content for all of you. Thank you so much for your support ❤️
@FahoodyAdventures bagpipes lol. I remember when we were looking across north spain for the area we liked best. Walking round cangas de onis then spotted a guy playing bagpipes on the bridge...couldnt believe it😆
@FahoodyAdventures brilliant we will try it as we do try our best not to sit in bars all day in oviedo.....but we are scottish lol. We love walking,👍🇪🇸🏴
@FahoodyAdventures looks great, we normally walk round san francisco park but need to explore abit as oviedo is going to be a big part of our life in future. I am working on a house next to sotrondio for our future👍
Hi! Is there any way to contact you directly? I'm thinking to move there and I would love if I could ask some practical living-routine questions ;) Thanks!
@FahoodyAdventures Test. Now that would be new content. No one does it. Now that would be showing real life, starting with job interviews, in Spanish. And the daily work days, without time to go to bars, or the supposed siestas. Do you want to know what life is like in Spain? Well, go ahead.
@@FahoodyAdventures Of course, and seeing how life is managed with a salary of €1000 a month. Food, rent or mortgage, car, car insurance, etc... Cheer up.
Don’t be so diplomatic. Spanish bureaucracy is bad. Irremediably bad. Traditionally bad. Entrenched on a centenary culture of bad bureaucracy. There are literary Spanish classics based on this phenomenon. Speaking of classics, the classic aspiration of a Spaniard is to enter the droves of public servants to be privileged with a lifetime secure work with incredible privileges and practically no repercussions no matter what and, as a collective, with absolutely all the power. And here you have why it is so inefficient and abusive, yet somehow ends up working.😂

The real adventure in Spain is to enter into society and that starts by working for a Spanish company. The rest is simply being a tourist.
Yes this is also an adventure 👍
