When you move the rocks with your hand do you still have cutter wheel on?

On average do you end up dumping the profit of the job back into teeth? Seems like everything needs to go perfect for this to work out. Looking to pick one of these up however initial cost and maintenance cost makes it hard for me to see any money to be made here, what are your thoughts/experience?

48 inch tounge extension.and 72 inch swing.i have a 1993 vermeer 665b and that is what the book says.139 foot pounds of torque and 3000 max rpm is 66 horsepower.had 2 of them over the last 25 years.the one i have now i have had fir 10 years.just had the amish completely rebuild the engine in September.was not cheap but it runs like a beast now.

Thanks Mike. Mine has some "modifications" that were done before I owned it so some things are a bit odd. When I switched to Yellowjacket teeth it turns out my cutter wheel has a Rayco tooth pattern n it not Vermeer. But hey it sure does cut a stump.

@@welcometothewoodshedwithtr7680 they do.mine is a 93 and has a 20 tooth wheel.it is different than my older on i had that had like 36 teeth.im running 20 low pro wearsharp greenteeth on the one i have now.it is fast and blows through big stumps.

Where do you get your replacement teeth at?

I use Yellow Jackets and get them right from Vermeer.
