My hubby likes an over hard egg. 🥴 I like mine runny so he always gives me the first one. 🥰 He cooks a full breakfast each and every sat & sun that he's home, whether or not anyone's hungry.
Over medium, wheat toast, and bacon. Maybe peanut butter French toast if I'm feeling frisky.... 😏 Loveddd the video. Cooking is a major coping mechanism for me and it's always peaceful to learn and watch you do your thang!!!
We love cooking basics!! I swear I cannot successfully cook a fried egg for my life, but this has inspired me to try again! I’m more of a cracking eggs into a baked goods kind of person lol
Irene! A super useful tip I learned for peeling hard-boiled eggs: once you've cracked it all over, stick a spoon up under the membrane of the shell so it's cupping the eggie, and slide the spoon around -- the shell pops off so much more easily, in bigger pieces!
I just CANT with the face expressions and how clumsy you are especially how you stop to make us notice every mistake you do. When those avocados hit the floor as did I 🤣🤣🤣😭😭❤❤❤
I usually add a little bit of salt to the water. It helps boiled eggs to peel easier too. I haven't heard of adding vinegar or poking the eggs so I'll give that a try.
Do I eat eggs? Nope I sure don’t do I plan on even cooking eggs for anybody any time soon nope but am I going to watch the entire video just simply because I adore Irene? 1000%🖤
I watched part of this video last night. When I went to make my poor sick pup a scrambled egg this morning, I made sure to really whip the egg up so it wasn’t streaky. He loved it. I think. He couldn’t tell me. But he ate it so 👍🏻
wow as someone who has a lot of cooking anxiety this video was calming! you're really good at being directive while being kind & encouraging (if that makes sense??) that eases anxiety well. also you have the same energy as my best friend of fifteen years & i love it
I like my eggs over hard 😂 That’s how my mom made my eggs growing up, so that’s how I like it. My aunt likes her whites crispy, but the yolk runny. Mama likes crispy whites and well done yolks.
If you're planning on eating the hardboiled egg right away and you don't want to peel it, you can always whack it with a knife in the middle then eat it with a spoon. That's my "I don't want to deal with peeling" method
Over easy is my fav. I cook my egg like my grandma used to do. She didn't flip it, she'd put some oil in the pan, let it heat up and she'd just "slop" the oil over the egg until it was done.
This whole video reminded me of my grandpa. Everytime i would spend the night, he made sure to make me "dunky" eggs and toast in the morning. Still my favourite ❤
You're a good egg. I like over hard if I'm going to put my eggs between slices of bread and take it to work. Over medium if I'm going to dip my buttered toast into it at home. I love how you cut up words, like "wat" for water.
Irene, thank you so much for making this video! I absolutley love this series you're doing. It is very helpful for people like me who aren't familiar with cooking and fancy terms. Much love, God bless
Mmmmmm yummo!! I now have figured out how I like my eggs! Over medium!! Not over easy like I have thought my entire adult life!! Thanks reenie! Love ya
Over medium is the only correct way to have the most delicious eggs🍳 also, ever since I first heard you mention cracking eggs on a flat surface I’ve done it that way and it really does prevent tiny baby eggshell pieces from falling in!🖤
Ironically watching this video making hard scramblies for me and medium fried eggs for the hubby 🍳🥓🍞 love your channel irene you make it feel like I'm cooking with family/a friend and that's literally the best ❤❤❤ you always have the best things to talk about
I'm one of those people that like a hard fried egg... LOL. I can handle the yolk being a little bit runny, but I NEED the white's to be crispy and brown.
Eggs are on of the most practical things to know how to make. Breakfast? Sure! Extra protein for your lunch? Of course! Extra protein for your dinner? Why the hell not?! Nutritious snack? Absolutely!
Platypus eggs are soft but not clear. They are very small and platypus babies are about the size of a jelly bean when they hatch. ♥️ Much love to Irene ♥️
i feel like the sauce is the type of ingredients you put into an egg salad! why i never thought making it saucy could elevate my hard boiled egg eating game 😋😋😋😋😋😋
My favorite type of egg is a soft boiled egg. I like over easy fried and very soft fluffy scrambled with added milk or cream. This was a very helpful video. I’m gonna try owlets more often. I love omelets
yayaya Im about to move out and need some tips ans extra cooking help. Thank you this was perfect timing. also accomplishment moving out at 17. Love ya reenie.
Idk why but I find eggs so difficult to get it the way that I want it to be. BUT OMFG IRENE THANK YOU BECAUE EVERY TIME I FOLLOW YOUR INSTRUCTIONS THEY TURN OUT SO AMAZING!
Watching this while I eat eggs 👀 love that for me. And little tippy tip! I always worry about flipping my egg ‘cause I like over easy/medium but I don’t like the yoke broken so I put a lid on top to baste it and the yoke will cook a bit more ‘cause of the steam created without getting the bottom too dark or having to flip it 🥰🥰
Ooo! But my fav (and when I want a little treat for myself) is egg whites fried in left over bacon grease 😋😋 I always have that for breakfast on holidays and such! (If you’re vegan or anything then frying it w/o the bacon grease is still yum)
I'm in LOVE with sunny side up eggs Alsooooo, when I do hard-boiled eggs, I always have to get them closer to the chalky consistency because I'm making deviled eggs when I hard boil eggs and that jammy consistency is not good for the deviled egg mix.
i usually scramble but for sandwiches i prefer over hard because i hate sticky yolk on my face and hands. but also i mix my eggs in a bowl then pour it into the pan and make a patty for sandwiches so idk what thats called lol just an unfolded omelete i guess
Petition for Irene to give herself permission to get the cooking supplies she fully deserves:

Thank you so much, Davin!!!!
I am one of those people that you said you didn't know Irene lol... I love over hard eggs.
AMAZING, GREG!!! Truly fascinating to me - not even kidding hahahaha
I love how the egg dip is literally what you put in deviled eggs
Says her egg sauce is weird... but it's basically the other ingredients to a deviled egg. Yum!!!
I like my egg very well done. Not runny. Prefer burnt than runny. But love them all diff ways.
I ONLY eat over-hard eggs. The day I eat a runny yolk is the day I die 😂
Same here! I even break the yolk before I flip so the yellow gets nice and browned. So good!
@@Hey.itskailey I do the same thing
INSANE!!!! AYahhahahahha i love that for you!

Thank you Mama Irene for teaching 21 year old me how to properly cook an egg multiple ways.
Love you, hope you're staying safe healthy and happy ❤❤
