Will do. I created a new play list and I will have a full series on this property starting February all the way through spring and summer leading into fall

This video really helped me visualize things a lot better. I can hear it explained 100 times, but seeing it laid out visually just makes some of the concepts you’ve talked about previously “click” for me! I like these type of videos! I’m about to settle in what some would call a “micro plot”. 10 acres in PA with 1/2 woods, 1/2 farm fields that will eventually be our home site, but I want to hunt it until we build. I’ve been saving your videos to my library so when Spring rolls around, I can place my Domain order and get started. Just today, I’m going to get my father in laws disk and roller to get ready!

That’s awesome glad it had helped ans congrats on your land. There’s a million other things I would do this spot if it was wonder and multiple other things someone could do if I was consulting on it. I have a playlist i started about this property that I will update throughout the winter, spring and summer

Sounds like a great plan. I would add a stand on the corner of the tree line on NE corner of treeline adjacent to farmers house for rifle and muzzle loader season.

Depending on location because it will change some on each property but usually I like to keep them no smaller then 1/4 acre

Nice project, I think you have some good ideas. Will be waiting to see your results. Going to start working on some things on my property as well after the first of the year, weather permitting.

That was a great video Dave! It’s looks like a great setup. Couple of questions. Are your food plots downhill from the row crops? If so you kinda get the fertilizer runoff from it. You mention the trails from the future bedding areas you are going to create. Are there existing trails or old logging roads or are you going to clear areas for trails?

Thanks appreciate it. It’s not down hill no. There’s always some kind of run off anywhere but the plots really
Won’t benefit from it. The trails from the future bedding will be existing trails that I kinda clean up and enhance some I will
Be creating the bedding areas around the already existing trails. There may be some trails i actually
      Block off as well.

You mentioned your leasing land. I would like to approach a neighbor to see if he would be interested in leasing his land. Do you know a average amount per acre in Pa? I wound not know where to begin. Thanks
