I was thinking the same thing... it's really confusing, the reason the answer here is China is because it's an example mentioned in the audio...although the blank is in front of "religious" but the blank demands an example as the answer which is not given by the speaker when he was talking about religion. It's quite tricky!
No it cannot be stamp collecting because we have to modify our answers when we write them...see the question they are asking an example which is "stamp collection" even though the audio says "stamp collecting" it's an activity they mentioned that happens not in present continuous tense... In Q 13 I too made the same mistake but listen to the audio again and see the question...they are asking examples... listen carefully, the audio does not mention any example for "religious" but it does when it talks about "international/cultural"...these are tricky ones we have to be really careful😑

part 2, there are many clubs and examples, but both of them are not seperated clearly, it makes listeners find it hard to understand the context
