Maybe it was love.

I recently heard that the act of baking sweets is to heal the soul, and I wondered if that is why I feel the need to bake when I am tired. When I was studying for exams, all I did was bake sweets.
I shared an apple pie with my bird that day. His chirping seems to make the pastries taste better.
Sometimes I take him to the kitchen. He seems to be him wherever I take him.
At noon I went for a walk.
I started going to that park because of that cat. She was a dork and not very cute, but she had a wonderful charm about her. I was often disappointed when I went to that park and didn't see her.
Sometimes I would not see her for a month and then she would suddenly appear out of the bushes and I would be elated.
I haven't seen her in over a year. She might not be in that park anymore.
Still, I visit the park with a faint hope. Sometimes I think of her as I walk.
