    Diluted Gatorade and salt. Completely changed the game for me
    I get the powdered Gatorade. I have an old protein scoop. I used one scoop of Gatorade to 40 oz of water and I sprinkle fine pink Himalayan salt in it.

      Do you drink 40z during a workout? That seems like a lot

      @@CitizenoftheWorld1 Yeah, actually more than that bc I mix my pre-workout in a full normal size shaker. I drink that on the drive. Then my big shaker during my workout. And it's a 35oz shaker not 40. My bad. I sweat a lot. So I try to keep up with it. But it's 100% absolutely a game changer.

      @@jefforr439 I sweat a lot too lol. I usually drink just 12oz during a workout but I'm gonna try double the amount

      @@CitizenoftheWorld1 flavor it and throw.some salt in in. You'll notice the difference. I like the Gatorade for the little bit of sugar. You've probably seen ppl eating sour patch kids or gummy bears during a workout. I can't do that.

    If we had a good pre-workout meal (easy digest carbs and a source of proteins) within 1-1.5 hours before the workout, is it more important the intra-workout and the post-workout meal?
    According to John Meadows, the post-workout meal becomes secondary; on the contrary, for Mike Israetel the intra-workout meal is not so relevant.
    What's your opinion?

    Protein farts give me an edge over the competition @ my CrossFit class. They all stay far behind me.

    The recommendations here are for performance focused training, aren’t they? Does these apply for purely hypertrophy training?

      Yeah if you sweat a lot depends how long your in the gym too, and how hard your intensity is. I use karbolyn and a teaspoon of L-Arginine for a bigger pump with 300-400ml of water 30mins before the gym
      If you want more information on it I highly recommend watching James tiny vest on TH-cam.

      John Meadows was a big believer in it. I can definitely tell a difference since I implemented it.

      I'd say when you train longer than 1 hour (let's say 1,5 to 2 hours) it is very much worth it.

      1:1:1 Potassium, Magnesium, Sodium in a 6-8% of the total volume of your chosen beverage.

      Buy the unflavored potassium chloride powder and the unflavored magnesium powder, you can mix either into almost anything

    Most electrolyte blends are low in potassium because excessive potassium could throw off your heart rhythm and cause a medical emergency
