Not only did I listen to the feedback, I learnt from my mistakes, focused on a niche and, most importantly, stayed consistent. Now... my channel is thriving more than I ever expected. If I can do it, you can too!
It's hard for these brands to distinguish real and fake engagement now which is why IG is cracking down on bots finally because a lot of these "influencers" buy fake followers and then pay for likes/comments monthly to make the engagement rate look reasonable. So unless they have someone go into the said "influencers" follower/likes to determine if they have these fake bots following and liking (which some companies probably have someone in said company do) then it's just going to be a hard no or a no because they did have someone analyze the profile. My buddy is a photographer and just started tagging brands in his pics if the client was wearing something of theirs and he doesn't have a huge following but they started paying him and some of his clients for the photos to use. So that could be helpful as well. Just rock a bran you actually love and start tagging them. Once they see you actually believe in the brand and aren't just in it for the money (although the cash helps for sure) then they may be more reluctant to pay for the genuineness.

My expertise is in search engines mainly ranking listings in Amazon’s SERP, I also use/have access to a lot of tools/softwares to help rank. Anyways I’ve been following your content for a bit now (~4 months) just to get the perspective of an influencer as you talk lots about their pain points and have experienced them yourself. I myself don’t focus my brand on Influencer/social media but I’ve helped one brand owner with building out an SOP for their VA to follow as it’s a time consuming endeavor to get influencers to do brand deals. I’ve built out the ideal TH-cam influencer strategy that generates good results and took some time to dial in. Lots and lots of Amazon sellers want to get into influencer marketing as they know it can work but like you mentioned in your video money is NOT the problem the results are (in most cases). I don’t want to come off as cocky but I was in a call with ~40 Amazon all 7+ figure sellers all interested in the TH-cam strategy me and my client/friend have been using/put together. The truth is we have a good strategy in place but the problem is we have no time to manage all the steps needed to pull it off at scale and training VA’s is a lot harder than most people think... As Amazon sellers we run into the same problem as you guys do, messaging 100's of influencers and only ~5% getting back to you. I call that part "speed dating" as you just need to keep asking/emailing till one of the influencers responds/works out a deal. We used to use a platform called “FameBit”, I'm sure you’ve heard of it but it’s shut down now :(. I’m looking into “hashtagpaid” as you mentioned in the video but seem expensive. The reason I’m making this message is to ask you if you know of good TH-cam/IG influencers finding platforms and how you go about contacting/finding influencers? For you influencers that have read this far, look into messaging Amazon sellers on products you can stand behind (something you’d recommended to a friend). As you can message them through Amazon’s platform and believe me they read what Amazon customers have to say…

Should you take a brand deal which doesn’t fully align with your “niche” - for example if an education based brand offered a deal to an influencer who mainly posts art/sport etc... the target audience is pretty much the same (teenagers) but the theme is different
I work in sales. If 1 in 10 respond, only 1 in 15 of responses will be a sale. You need to send to 150 minimum for 1 deal. You didn't tell her wrong besides amount of people to reach out

So we went into a deep dive, bella's like are 25% of her following. which is 5x of the industry standard of a 2-5% engagement rate. followers are an okay way to measure value, but a lot of brands now look at storyviews + # of likes, not just followers! Also brands negotiate so typically you start higher and go back and forth till it makes both parties happy :)
