If you actually research, the stock wing and and profile on FK8s is functional. In fact practically all the aero on FK8s is functional and serves a purpose.
So does adding this Caruse aero flap improve the stock functionality or make it worse?
@videogameland I'd assume making it worse and it's causing additional drag. Not a massive amount but defo worse
@@A5hTriXit's the same as putting a big wing on it, adding downforce always increases drag as a tradeoff

They also have another part for the bottom that goes above the hatch listed under the FK7 but it fits the FK8 I have it for my type r

How long did your order take? Why I haven't received any notification about the shipment since I placed order last March 31.
When you put the order in from the website for the pre order, it takes a while, I didn’t hear anything up until It was about to ship! You could always send them a message, I messaged them through Instagram and asked because mine took a while too without any news

Hey Man! The wing extension was $220
Its front wheel drive wouldnt this create more drag and make it slower and be pretty much useless
i think he installed it just for looks but fwd can still benefit with aero especially for stability through corners in a track. the rear in most fwd sports cars is so light that it sometimes pokes out when u lift off in a corner, so having aero in the back is very useful
Couldn’t have said it better myself, from the factory the Type R wing is functional, however the Caruse design is really well designed so I’m sure if it does add drag it isn’t too much of it 🙏🏽could be wrong tho
