I am looking on a diffuser on my 2017 hatchback sport and i put on sequential turn signal led lights on my bumper gonna be more work to remove the wires from it.

What specific paint did you use or recommend using for the oem splash guards/mud flaps to make it glossy black?
I had a body shop paint them, so they used automotive paint.
Did you install your splash guards without any drilling? In the instruction of installing the splash guards, it says that we have to drill into the side of rear diffuser.
Drilling is required for the oem splash guards. U have to make 2 small holes so u can attach a bracket that holds the splash guards.

The white line is just a pinstripe i added to the diffuser. got it at autozone for like $5
I've got a silly question I like how the diffusers on the sport hatches properly house a dual tip exhaust. By chance do you know if the rest diffuser will work on a sedan or are the bumpers different?
It will NOT work on the sedan. The bumper is a different shape.

Where did you get your diffuser and the glossy splash guards? Having a hard time to find them both 😂
Lol the Diffuser I got at my local honda dealer and the splash guards are OEM that I got on eBay but I had them painted in gloss black by a local body shop.
Looks great! Any info on the 2020 fog light housings and the rear bumper bezels with the colored accents? Also, what other mods have you done?
I have not tried myself but I hear that the 2020 fog light housings and rear bumper bezels will not fit the older models because the clips they have that attach to the bumper are in different locations compared to the older model so you would have to get the whole 2020 bumpers if you want the housings.
As far as other mods to my car I have Greddy exhaust and PRL Catless down pipe and front pipe and I have PRL cobra cold air intake and D2racing coilovers.

cottonswab I had to cut the where the spare tire goes to bend it up and even fret the bending I can still fit the spare. Worked out great really

I got it at my local O'Reilly Auto Parts store. They have different colors and was just $4 for the roll that is enough to go around the whole car. Im glad you liked the video!

Will the diffuser fit a 2018 si?
Unfortunately no. The rear bumper of the si is different shape from the hatchbacks.
How easy was it to install the type R rear spoiler?
It was actually pretty easy to do but it does take some time since u have parts to remove from inside the hatch door and then u gotta take time to get your template in just the right place before you start to drill the holes. So make sure you have a few hours to do it and you definitely need a second person to help you out.

How much did the 2020 rear diffuser cost? And would it fit on an EX model?
I paid $120 for both parts and yes it fits all 10th gen hatchbacks. Only thing is since the EX is not center exhaust, you'll just have an empty center lol unless u get a custom exhaust made so it'll look like my sport hatchback.

Will this fit sedan?
No the sedan bumper is shaped differently. This only works for the hatchbacks.
Do you know if this fits a 2019 sport touring?
Yes it fits all 10th gen hatchbacks.

Where did you buy the mud guards?
They are the OEM ones from dealer but I had mine painted in gloss black to match the lip kit.

Can it be done without removing the bumper?
I've heard of some people doing it without removing the bumper but then 2 of the plastic clips can not be reinstalled because they are in a difficult place to get to.
@@MoisesEmpire Thanks for letting me know about the two plastic clips. Just wanted to know since I've replaced those red rear bumper reflectors with wired in LED Rear Bumper Sequential Signal Brake Lights.

@@robot3rk995 rear bumper comes off real fast. Front is a little more tricky. I've gotten myself to under 5 minutes on rear bumper removal lol.

I bought mine a long time ago so prices might be different now, but I think I paid $121 for both parts if I remember correctly.

the amount of money spent trying to upgrade this car should have gotten the CTR in the first place.
Car was $20k and I have about $3k in upgrades. That's no where near the $40k+ that a CTR costs.
