Hey Brett and Eddy. Former US Navy veteran here, I started playing the violin at 37 years of age when I was working at a fish shop on an Island in Florida, all because I found your youtube channel. You guys got me to appreciate classical music so much more than I ever knew I could. I am now 43. I put down the violin for a bit, but it is now firmly back in my hands. Don't let anyone's opinion stop you from what you want to do. One of the greatest things we can say as an adult is, "Yea, I am not going to do what you want. I will do what I want to do." Everything you have made will live on forever in us and in yourselves. I wish you nothing but success and the absolute best of luck in your next endeavors. I have a message to give to you: Go practice the next stage of your life! Fair winds and following seas, friends.
Thank you for sharing an inspiring experience sir! I myself just turned 25 several days ago and also want to pursue my childhood dream, learning piano. Twoset give me lots of courage and that it's never too late to start. Still saving money from job so that I can buy my very first instrument. Good luck on your musical journey too sir!
Never would have thought I’d be crying over two men dressed in period costumes, riding around on bikes anime ending style, but here we are. Thank you, for all the great memories and motivation you have given me for so many years! I’ll be sure to carry on the classical music legacy. I will miss you, goodbye!
@Placeholder03-r3r same ,I will miss them ,even though I only watched them for 1 year,I will never forget them, they are the most memorable and influential to me as they made me know not to give up on my dreams in music and art ,they shall always be remembered like the classical composers who lived on for centuries and became famous bc of them.
That moment where Bach and Shostakovich stand side by side by the portal, looking back to appreciate it all before leaving? The oldest and the youngest members of B2TSM? Instant tears. Thank you, Brett and Eddy, for everything.
it's not that deep it's only because all the other characters were acted by other people. because it'd be hard to film many times and find a place to change in that field
@saraweerasinghe7394 lol they were one of my motivations in making videos so I made for ever of of their last to sent my final goodbyes (although they don't have much views,I still felt happy when I could make those people who watched it happy):D even though I didn't prac 40 hrs a day(I disappointed ling ling ,tsv and twosetters, sorry),but I will try and never give up on my dreams bc of them one classical legend had gone ,but hundreds will carry on their legacy
I was so mad when they initially left without any explanation but now watching this made me realize how well thought of a farewell it was to their work.
Fortunate enough to find them at the age of 6 and started the violin. Now I'm applying to university with a diploma in violin for ABRSM. Thank you twoset for changing my life. We Lingling wannabes will be forever in debt to you guys!
"Our spirit lives on through you." - The single most important line. Let us all maintain our connection to one another as a community. TwoSet started as a duo of two best friends and grew into representing not just Classical comedy, but a way of seeing and experiencing Classical Music that none of us will ever forget, ever. And, through those memories, we too can contribute whatever little we can to spreading the love of Classical Music. Excited to hear that they are still toying with the idea of live touring! I think that they are definitely of that level now that their content on TH-cam is enough to accurately tell the world what they are about and they can potentially start focusing their energies on in-person shows. Whatever they decide, we will always be there for them. Thanks, you two, for all that you have done to awaken and reawaken the love of Classical Music in everyone across the globe!!! We'll miss you!
But sorry, i do have a bit of crying to do. Fare well, B2TSM. It has been an honour knowing you. And thank you for leaving your music and your videos with us We love you so much
Goodbye, TwoSet Violin. Thank you for B2TSM. Thank you for interacting with fans one last time via livestream. Thank you for all your years of creativity and the hard work it took to make dreams reality. You’ve shown us so many possibilities as TwoSet, and now it is time for your new chapter. Take care, Brett and Eddy. Hope to see you around.
holy shit - the fantasia references, the hula hooping, the passing on the keys to the next generation. i’m crying and this hit so fricking hard just like twoset knew it would. thank you guys for everything. thank you for bringing classical music back to so many of us. your impact and legacy will last so long
Dear Brett and Eddy, You guys are the reason why I (now 15 years old) started getting back into music in 2020! I was going through a pretty rough time with my mental health, and watching your videos would always make my day brighter (I remember audibly laughing to a lot of them). I picked up the piano again, which I had abandoned for a few years, and I’ve been playing every day ever since! (For 40 hours ofc) and I always think of you two every time I sit down to play and practice! I love the piano so much, I have a great teacher, and play a lot of jazz and blues tunes, and love classical music, music theory and music history. You guys made music fun for me! I’ll miss you so much! Thank you for everything you’ve done for the musical community and best of luck in whatever your next endeavors might be! On the note of this music video, thanks for making me cry with all the references to previous videos and such. I’ll never forget everything you added to my life ❤ - Emilie (piano gang!!!)
Classical pieces in this piece (in order of what I heard): - 0:26: J.S. Bach: Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring - 0:44: D. Shostakovich: 5 Pieces for Two Violins and Piano - 1: Prelude - 1:03, 1:59: L.v. Beethoven: Piano Sonata No. 8 “Pathetique” - 3rd movt - 1:22: P.I. Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1 in Bb Minor - 1st movt - 1:40, 2:43: W.A. Mozart: Sonata for Two Pianos K.448: 1st movt -2:24: W.A. Mozart: Symphony No. 25 in G Minor: 1st movt - 2:33: W.A. Mozart: Symphony No. 40 in G Minor: 1st movt (Not sure if I’ve missed out anything/ gotten anything wrong)
That's a decent list. It's actually harder to pick these up because they're often pretty much buried in the sequencer texture (except the beethoven), which serves to keep it all together pretty well.
As an elderly, former violin teacher, I understand what it means to walk away. Brett and Eddie: I love you, I thank you, and I wish you all the best! ❤❤
Dear Brett and Eddy: All six of the MV's are a beautiful love letter to the fans, and an opportunity for fans to say their own farewell. How appropriate the 'Forever Symphony' was uploaded the day after (Northern) winter solstice - being the first day when daytime slowly lengthens and brings with it hope of renewal/rebirth. Thank you for sharing your creativity, courage to follow your own path, inspiration and encouragement to all of us, source of laughter and reflection, AND proving that upholding integrity, authenticity and rising above mediocrity ARE relevant and can be a path to success (especially in today's world). Thank you for letting us be part of your journey!
Twoset's past reference like hula hooping while playing and passing on their legacy to the young just hits hard. Thank You Twoset for all the years you guys inspired us.
You guys really stuck the landing with this one... A strong ending and an enduring legacy. Bravo, TwoSet. Best of luck with the next chapter, and thank you for everything.
its really over...even the channel logo changed back...they told us not to be sad but how can we not be? The final goodbye from the light of our childhood is the best masterpiece. The nostalgia in this is indescribable. The references from Fantasia, lingling challenges, and so many more content that we loved. After the livestream this hits so hard. Thanks for everything brett and eddy. Your spirit lives in all of us. You will never be forgotten. You will be living legends. This masterpiece will not be forgotten...
This is such a beautiful, wonderful, not at all sacrilegious (hopefully temporary) farewell 😭 It's weird and at the same so beautiful how people can connect through music and content. I can tell you sincerely that you have made me so happy so many times. I've even cried of laughter with some of your videos. There have been days where I felt lost and sad but those nights I've spent watching your videos and laughing are unforgettable. I don't remember when I started watching your videos but it probably was around 2019. Thank you for this, your music is nothing but beautiful and incredible!! Really love you, TwoSet.
Aspiring orchestral conductor here! I found TwoSet through their “Composer Smash or Pass” video and have been an avid fan ever since. Brett and Eddy, thank you so much for all you’ve done. Because of you I’ve felt less alone in my passion and been able to connect with others that share it. Mention “40 hours” or “sacrilegious” in a youth orchestra and they light up. You guys are amazing and have brought so much light to the lives of musicians. Your legacy will live on. Thank you.
The curtains are falling for one last time. One last bow, one last applause, standing ovation just for you and everything you've done the past eleven years. You've done enough, way more actually than anyone would have thought in the beginning! You can be proud of yourselves and we can only thank you for sharing your passion and taking us with you on this incredible, whirldwind journey! May God bless you and your future ways! We love you, Brett and Eddy! ❤️
Thank you twoset! I started watching since 2018, and I was glad to watch your world tour in Toronto last year :) Thank you so much for bringing the classical music community together. You guys are the reason why I could make friends during covid times when I moved to Toronto. Thank you for making this era of classical music great!
You are the first TH-camr(s) that I could proudly say that I follow and love. You changed the way I know about classical music and violins. But it's safe to say that I (and many of us) love your content simply for who you guys are. Your friendship, geniune laughters, goofy jokes, and flexing moments are making this channel not just a place for classical music knowledge, but a true entertainment. This certainly feels like losing two dearest friends in life. I hope we will continue to hear from you, no matter a podcast, a vlog, or a random live chat. Please stay in touch. Much much love from Taiwan
Did this feel nice? Yes it sure as heck did! Did I cry? I...sure as heck...did.. Man, really feels like the end of an era. This final composition is surely a masterpiece, the melody, the lyrics.. I am not a musician but I have been hooked on your channel since last 6 years. It feels very empty knowing I won't be able to look forward to another exciting video by TwoSet.. Brett and Eddy, thank you for inspiring us! But even if you guys leave this stage as Twoset Violin, please keep finding ways to come back once in a while. We Twosetters would tune in to simply watch you guys talk with each other!! All the best to you both!! Love you!
Brett and Eddy, Thank you so much for the past 11 years. I found your channel only 4 months after you started uploading videos when I began playing violin. Twoset helped me to appreciate classical music and grow into a LingLing wannabe. You helped me to find my passion. You helped me to fall in love with music deeper than before. You helped me to find the fun in music when, at times, there wasn't any. I grew up with you, both of you, as role models and even friends when I had none. Now, I just graduated with a music degree, and it truly is the end of an era. So, thank you both for your talent and comedy! You will forever be in my music and my heart as a part of my Forever Symphony.
Thank you for hosting the hangout yesterday. It was great to get that closure, see you guys again, and feel that we are still a family. Honestly, I felt so warm to know that you guys will continue to stay in touch and keep us updated about life. The community you’ve built can be so precious and I’m glad you are keeping the best of it. I am so happy that you guys are closing this chapter to start a new one. As I hope to mature and grow, I hope that my interests evolve as well and so am excited and thrilled to see your next chapter. These videos really showcase how much your legacy of reigniting a broader love for classical music means to you, and by extension how much your fans mean to you. They are so thoughtfully crafted and I think the perfect ending to all that’s been built so far. This video especially so; it made me feel so proud and warm to be your fan. So thank you. For all the content, laughs, times, and your artistry, thank you. I’m very much looking forward to your next steps. 👋
Ahh- sorry as if my message isn’t long enough, I have more to add. I think what you guys are doing, ending things here, is so brave and nothing less than what I expect. Instead of just juicing the large fanbase you’ve developed by outputting similar, stagnated content, you guys are choosing to seek new horizons and challenge what you already know and have done. Again, proud to see your next chapter and proud to be your fan. 🎉
I love how in the final line "our spirit lives on through you" the melody doesn't resolve, kinda showing us that we should continue the legacy of brett, eddy, and classical composers
I discovered this channel during COVID. I'm not even from the classical music world, but I just loved your sincerity and energy. I'll miss you guys. Thank you for everything you've done. Wish you all best ❤
Dear Twoset, I’ve never commented on your videos before, but I wanted to say, thank you guys so much for everything you’ve done. I only discovered you guys about two years ago, but I had a lot of fun watching your guys’ content and learning about classical music. You guys introduced me to classical music, and I’m so glad you did; (you guys also introduced me to bubble tea, which I loved very much 😂). I still want to continue learning about classical music, and because of you guys, I want to learn an instrument as well (probably going to choose the piano). What you guys have done for classical music in this generation is so inspiring and your impact is undeniable. These final music videos you’ve put out were so beautiful and fun to watch, as well as all your other projects. I’ll never forget you guys and I hope that whatever you guys do in the future, you are happy and healthy. Thank you Brett and Eddy. Sincerely, Zoei
6 or 7 years ago I would come across a particular video that would change everything. 21 types of orchestral players. A silly fun short vid based around the orchestra. How cute. Little did I know the tunnel I'd go down over the years. Laughing and learning with joy. Thank you Twoset for everything you have done for the millions of us out here. You've left a mark that will never be forgotten. Farewell, may the sands of time treat you with kindness.
Found them at the same time as you and never let go. Now I'm crying. Because of a youtube channel. They really made a huge impact in my and many more peoples lives.
Ok Twoset. You got me. That was a beautiful ending to a wonderful journey. And I’m glad you’re doing it on your terms. Enjoy this new adventure and know we’re all behind you 100%.
I am without exaggeration in tears... This last mv touched me in a different way. Seeing you guys leaving your legacy's to us... Thank you for bringing happiness to our lifes. We wish the BEST for you guys. We love you. Take care❤❤
And with that, the era of TwoSetViolin comes to a close! Thank you so much Brett and Eddy for all you have done to promote classical music! You have inspired. me to take on music professionally! Thank you for all the memories, charades, videos, and tier-lists! I have enjoyed them all!
one last hurrah 🫶 still can’t believe i’m going to be going into 2025 without my two favourite TH-camrs telling me to go practice 😭😭 thanks for everything, Brett and Eddy! ❤️
Guys… Every Twosetter here… Go practice. There are no excuses anymore. This will certainly be a forever symphony for us all. This certainly was a long adventure for everyone, but now we are all home. It’s over now, but in our hearts, these two people will always remain like family to us all. Us Twosetters were a family here, and always will be. Goodbye Brett and Eddy. Please, stay safe and healthy, and we love you so much! ❤
When I first heard this on spotify (you know, it was released earlier on spotify) I thought it was beautiful but was not enough to make me cry. Then I watched this MV the other night. It was the first time I shed tears to a TH-cam video. B²TSM creating memories together in a room is just so beautiful. I'd love to see them holding a reunion someday.
Thank you for encouraging a 60+ adult violin learner to enjoy the music and for bring laughter and joy to me when i didn't see a reason to keep practicing. Its hard not to cry but you guys will go on to great things and i think we'll somehow see you again. I wish i had been able to see you live and I'd love to shake your hands and to say, Thank you. Our hearts will go on and the music lives on.
THE START KILLED ME FANTASIA CALL BACK??? also the kids are so cute what. also stunning how seamless it looks even though there's 2/3 versions of themselves acting HULA HOOP CHALLENGE CALL BACK bro the call backs are endless them leaving in the opposite order of the order the videos were released BROO.
I never thought I would be crying for TH-camrs at some point in my life. But here I am - I see them teary-eyed and start crying. You guys are not the center of my life, but you will be missed a lot.
Yes! Hope they stay in contact as they said. They are just amazing people. I can’t imagine what fans feel who knew them for several years, because i just found them not even a year ago. Do you play an instrument btw?
It hurts me how I'll visit this channel months later and this will be the last thing there. THANKYOU TWOSET, for changing me, as a literal person. It takes the strongest courage and purity of soul, to make the moving changes you guys made. You made people including me fall in love with Classical music...something so much in itself, yet so overlooked, and that fact in itself, brings out floods of appreciation from within me.. LOVE YOU TILL DEATH, and The bestest of wished and Full SUPPORT from this community for all your future endeavours... And Never gonna say a goodbye, because i know it isn't one... Take Care Brett and Eddy..
Twoset violin was my painkiller especially during my primary school days. When I first joined band in primary school, the seniors weren’t patient with me and they all gave up on me. I had to learn music by myself. I found twoset who taught me music theories through the videos they have done and I really learnt a lot with them. On another note, twoset inspired me to learn the violin. I’m now playing in a school orchestra. My core memory with twoset was the battle with Davie504 back in the Covid days and then it came to live on stage in Singapore. That was the best concert I ever had. The most epic memory was meeting Eddy while I was working. That happened 5 days after the Twoset x Davie504 concert. I wished I had my violin with me, I would have asked him to sign it for me. Thank you twoset violin for all the memories. I will miss watching all the videos. I will miss getting notifications that twoset violin posted a new video. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you again. ❤
See you guys. You are the reason I started classical music. Thank you for opening this world to me. What you created will always stay as the best thing in youtube. Please dont forget to come back every once in a while. Huge love from Turkey
Fr, I'm not even a musician, but I'm SO glad I found your channel years ago. You both had introduced me and taught me of how beautiful and underrated classical musics are. I keep going back to your videos, just to enjoy your educational contents. I learnt a lot from you guys and I couldn't be proud to support your future and goals since then and forever. Thank you, Eddy, Brett, the B²TSM's amazing team, and Ling Ling Wannabes, for making classical musics more enjoyable and inTeREstInG. May Ling Ling keeps going on beyond the timelines🎶💕 And go pRacTIcE!🫵
Seeing Eddy as Beethoven sitting/walking alone at a meadow remind me that the composer himself had a habit to took stroll at a forest/ countryside as a part of his creative process (he loved nature so much). Man everything about this mv is so beautiful, a wonderful parting gift indeed :') I can feel lots of love and passion from both Brett & Eddy for classical music ❤
With this final masterpiece and the live stream yesterday, I finally have the last piece of closure that my heart’s been craving for in the past two months. This is such a heartwarming message. It feels so empowering when then kids take over the key. Twoset, thank you so much for everything you have done in the past eleven years! This is not a farewell but beginning of a new chapter. All the best for your future work and stay true to your original aspirations. Hope to see you again at some point!❤ (Im not crying you’re crying.. so glad that I stayed with you till this point. Proud to be a twosetter!)
I'm 21, and I had no clue about classical music until this summer I found your channel, and got really into it, then just 2 months ago, picked up the violin! You got me into classical music, I didn't know you foer long, but it feels like a lifetime of memories, I can never thank you enough, I wish you luck on whatever you'll be doing next, and I'm sure with your passion you will succeed in it ❤
This is beautiful, and all 11 years leading up to it incredible. Yall left an indelible mark on the classical arts realm and we are so grateful for everything you contributed. Your legacy will live on. Wishing yall success in your future endeavors and all the happiness in the world ✨
Aw man ; _ ; I'm not even a musician (though I love music, I only play guitar from time to time as a hobby). I'm a visual artist. I don't even remember how I found your channel all those years ago. But the passion you had (and continue to have) for your art, made me more passionate about mine as well, even if it's art of a different kind. I have a fond memory of doodling around in the middle of the night sometime in 2019, which was a rather difficult year for me, and watching your livestream. I remembered that time when staying up this past night to hang out with you and the chat one more time (hello from a sleep deprived European!! haha), and felt very grateful. This right here is such a powerful way to end a chapter, it left me teary-eyed and deeply moved. Thank you for being an inspiration that goes beyond classical music really, and for your genuineness. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you're up to in the future, and am wishing you the best of luck 🤍
I ACTUALLY CRIED WATCHING THIS. TwoSet, I will miss you so much. Thank you for being so inspiring and for keeping classical music alive. I respect your decision, and I hope you find happiness and satisfaction in your future endeavors. You guys are amazing, thank you for everything.
I started playing violin last year and that was when I met two set. I feel like they're my companions in this tough journey, sometimes I feel like they're my personal friends, someone I can talk about classical music, someone that uderstands me. They got me closer to the classical music world and held my hand to no giving up the violin. I love you two set, thank you Brett and Eddy for teaching us about classical music in such a fun way. There's tears in my eyes, like saying good bye to a friend, but always hoping they'll come back some day. I'll keep watching your old videos (when you reupload them lol) and I hope you guys come to Brazil some day. Love you
Dear Brett & Eddy 6 years ago, I discovered you guys on TH-cam while I was still early in my violin learning journey. Since then, you guys have created so many fond memories for me, my peers, and countless other musicians. You guys truly left such an important impact on the classical music world by bridging the younger generation to be curious about it. If not for your channel, I don't know how far I could've taken my violin journey, especially during the pandemic. Thank you guys so much for all the awesome memories, please continue spreading the joy of music, and I wish you all the very best.
Crying as well 😭 been a fan for the past 7-8 years at least, I don’t even remember when I saw the first Twoset video. But I’ve learned so much about classical music in this time and I’ve developed such a strong passion and appreciation for it due to you guys. I didn’t realize how attached I’ve become, it always felt like I was watching two of my friends. It’s bittersweet, but I’m grateful and excited for you guys. Much love from a fan from Romania ❤️ Thank you for everything!
A few tears were shed. Thank you Twoset for everything you've done for the classical music world. We will continue to practice 40 hours a day and pass on these memories to some who may not have been able to experience it. I hope you will continue to stay strong and live a healthy life. Your channel has been a great help to me and my musical journey, so thank you, and you're welcome for supporting you. Take care, Brett and Eddy.
I would not have imagined I would be sad of any TH-camrs leaving yet here we are. Thanks for introducing me into the musical world of TH-cam TwoSet Voilon alongside other artists like Ray Chen, Hillary, and Choi through the collabs throughout the 7 years I've been watching. I thought i would lose my motivation to learn a instrument at the age of 28 when I discovered ya. Then I found a fun one known as the Aerophone which I do practice on n off on ever since I discovered you two and still do. Thanks for the edutainment you have brought to my life. As well as motivating me to find a instrument to love and practice. Thanks for everything Brett n Eddy.
My Dad introduced me to classical music when I was young and I fell in love with it. He passed in 2009 and life happened. Then I found you guys and my love for it came back, as did sweet memories of my Dad. So thank you both so much for all of that. Will miss your videos, but thank you for leaving us with memories, love and 40 hours of practicing. Now go do your next chapter and be happy and healthy.
Thank you, TwoSet. This was a gorgeous way to say goodbye. I discovered you when I was in conservatory. I had to drop out because of the 'rona, but now I have no choice but to practice. Time to put in the Lingling 40 hours. See you again!
I have so many things I want to say, but I fear I'd be sitting at my desk for weeks. I guess I can sum it all up by saying... Thank you, Brett and Eddy. For everything. May your journeys be ever fruitful and fulfilling.
Just been overwhelmed by all the superb B2TSM videos, live stream, & now this beautiful symphony challenging us to keep their spirit alive, and incredulously thanking US (when THEY deserve all the thanks)! I love how it ends with Bach looking around before entering the portal, and the music doesn't end on a final tonic resolution I chord, but unfinished, suspended on the 5th note! Brett & Eddy's work is NOT finished...they are too creative and WILL be back to us in some form. Also the final scene can be a sunset or a sunrise! Time to go, or rise again!?!?
I guess that's it then. Now I understood that this is the end 'cause I finally cried. But all I wanna say is THANK YOU, even though I don't think I can thank you enough. It was with this channel and the easy way you introduced us into the classical music world. I liked it before, but since in my country it's not a thing, I felt like I didn't even know how to begin listening to it. I felt like it was an exclusive group, but now I get it, and I'm even studying it-piano, by the way. Last year, I went through a tough time, and it was because of this channel that I could hold on tight, 'cause it gave me a passion to guide me while I was waiting for better times. As one philosophy teacher once said to me: "People will always come and go in your life; it's normal, and you have to get used to it." Now I would add or change it to: like a radiation, people come into your life, change it, and leave. It's up to you to separate what they'll give to you and keep what's good. Thank you for teaching me how to get into the classical music world and for making me practice and fall in love even more with my piano (never thought that violinists would do that). Good luck in your next life chapter; I guess it's a new beginning for all of us. Now we're letting go of it and keeping the good things that music radiated to us. Goodbye, good luck, and thank you.
Hi Brett and Eddy, (read it pls!!!) When I was 23 years old, I found your 4mil video. It was the first time I knew how beautiful music could be. "Beautiful", you know? I never though about that before. That December, you made me decide to learn a musical instrument, immediately. First with a guzheng, then a Vietnamese zither. Not a Western classical instrument, but I love the beautiful of sound, love your passion for music, then love the joyfulness when I am with my instruments. I would have never known that feeling if I hadn't met you. I practiced so hard. Miraculously, my teacher said I had musical talent, and she couldn't understand why no one had noticed it sooner. I had to choose whether to quit my job and chase music dream or not. At that time, I knew clearly that I loved music. But changing careers at 24? With all those prodigies and geniuse out there? And your Fantasia came as a reminder. I don't want to regret it one day in the future, in a small room working from 9 to 5. Then I applied to the conservatory for intermediate degree. Luckily, I was accepted, even got a scholarship. You guys are the reason I started learning instruments, let me know the happiness of playing music, gave me the motivation when I felt hesitant and affraid. You have given the world at least one more musician, do you know? My musical journey for me is truly unimaginable. Finding out your talent and your true passion in the age of 24, it was not too late. Thank you, TwoSet, for bringing me to this path. Today I watched your Forever Symphony (you posted it while my conservatory's exam was going on so I missed it). I cried out loud so many times. Why did you bring me here then leave me? 😭 But hey, don't worry! Just do what you want to do. We will "take care of this for you and carry on our legacy". Thank you for all you did for this era of music, for a huge number of musicians around the world. Keep practicing, keep playing, keep perfoming. I want to meet you one day on stage, hand you the letter I wrote and send you my appreciation.
Watching them for the last 9 years regularly they’ve been here for me through high school, jobs, homelessness, the Navy half my life TwoSet violin has been here thanks Brett and Eddy for your positive contribution to my life :)
During last night's livestream, I heard over and over again how you two helped amateur musicians to stay motivated and inspired others to pick up an instrument. As someone who had to leave my own dream of being a music teacher behind, your videos from the very beginning were a salve that helped me come to terms with a past that I had worked so hard for, and the laughs (and lessons) your videos provided brought the energy that spurred me to move on and keep moving toward something (in progress) that I will be equally proud of. While I'll also be one of the fans saddened by your departure, I'm proud of what both of you have accomplished and by how much you have touched us all. Go be great, and I hope to see you on tour soon.
If you can make us cry slowly you can make us cry quickly
I agree
So true
They did, thought I wasn’t, thank you 2 set, forever ~ 👍💕👏
Fr
I'm not crying, you are! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🎻💔
Well said!!! ❤
BZ for keeping that violin in those hands. ❤
Thank you for your service
Love this
Never would have thought I’d be crying over two men dressed in period costumes, riding around on bikes anime ending style, but here we are. Thank you, for all the great memories and motivation you have given me for so many years! I’ll be sure to carry on the classical music legacy. I will miss you, goodbye!
@Placeholder03-r3r same ,I will miss them ,even though I only watched them for 1 year,I will never forget them, they are the most memorable and influential to me as they made me know not to give up on my dreams in music and art ,they shall always be remembered like the classical composers who lived on for centuries and became famous bc of them.
they can make us cry wearing cat ears dressed like a maid, thats the twoset power

That moment where Bach and Shostakovich stand side by side by the portal, looking back to appreciate it all before leaving? The oldest and the youngest members of B2TSM? Instant tears. Thank you, Brett and Eddy, for everything.
also the composers of two of the greatest sets of preludes and fugues ever written
it's not that deep
it's only because all the other characters were acted by other people. because it'd be hard to film many times and find a place to change in that field
@GoodMorning-b2w, you're not that deep.
@GoodMorning-b2w nah you're just too shallow, stfu
@GoodMorning-b2wthen why didn’t they pick Beethoven and Mozart or a different combination? Even if it is a coincidence, it’s still deep
"So take care of this for me and continue our legacy" screaming crying throwing up
@saraweerasinghe7394 lol
they were one of my motivations in making videos
so I made for ever of of their last to sent my final goodbyes (although they don't have much views,I still felt happy when I could make those people who watched it happy):D
even though I didn't prac 40 hrs a day(I disappointed ling ling ,tsv and twosetters, sorry),but I will try and never give up on my dreams bc of them
one classical legend had gone ,but hundreds will carry on their legacy
I was so mad when they initially left without any explanation but now watching this made me realize how well thought of a farewell it was to their work.
lol
Just sweating in my eyes
REAL.
Fortunate enough to find them at the age of 6 and started the violin. Now I'm applying to university with a diploma in violin for ABRSM. Thank you twoset for changing my life. We Lingling wannabes will be forever in debt to you guys!
Congratulations!! That’s so amazing!!!! I’m an adult learner going on grade 7 :)))
This is probably the most pop music Brett has consumed in ages.
fr
Ok that’s really funny when I think about it! 😂😂😂
But he created it, didn't consume it, so in a way he stayed true to himself
That sums it up well, thanks. I m crying, however.😢
This hits so hard after the livestream
It does!
Exactly.
Yup 😢
Hi can anyone explain if they do colab with Coach ? Thanks @yverose8355
Yes😢
Enjoy your rest, Twoset. Thank you for you years of contribution to the world of classical music. Sincerely, a violist.

The best comment to describe their whole journey tbh!!
I want to cry even more when I try my best to make myself smile at this point😭😭😭
But sorry, i do have a bit of crying to do.
Fare well, B2TSM. It has been an honour knowing you.
And thank you for leaving your music and your videos with us
We love you so much
Goodbye, TwoSet Violin.
I still can't believe this will be your last piece of content. Your channel has been one of my favorites for over seven years. Take care!

holy shit - the fantasia references, the hula hooping, the passing on the keys to the next generation. i’m crying and this hit so fricking hard just like twoset knew it would. thank you guys for everything. thank you for bringing classical music back to so many of us. your impact and legacy will last so long

Dear Brett and Eddy,
You guys are the reason why I (now 15 years old) started getting back into music in 2020!
I’ll never forget everything you added to my life ❤
- Emilie (piano gang!!!)
Classical pieces in this piece (in order of what I heard):
- 0:26: J.S. Bach: Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring
- 0:44: D. Shostakovich: 5 Pieces for Two Violins and Piano - 1: Prelude
- 1:03, 1:59: L.v. Beethoven: Piano Sonata No. 8 “Pathetique” - 3rd movt
- 1:22: P.I. Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1 in Bb Minor - 1st movt
- 1:40, 2:43: W.A. Mozart: Sonata for Two Pianos K.448: 1st movt
-2:24: W.A. Mozart: Symphony No. 25 in G Minor: 1st movt
- 2:33: W.A. Mozart: Symphony No. 40 in G Minor: 1st movt
(Not sure if I’ve missed out anything/ gotten anything wrong)
That's a decent list. It's actually harder to pick these up because they're often pretty much buried in the sequencer texture (except the beethoven), which serves to keep it all together pretty well.
Well done bro!
Vocal melody at 1:02 sounds like Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake
@@AzariaYun ooooooohhhhh!! I couldn’t catch that!

Take a bow, Twoset. You did so well. So grateful to have found you and been part of your symphony!
I see, so a parallel to schubert’s unfinished symphony. Smart move for a MV that is going to be remembered forever in the hearts of twosetters
“Our spirit lives on through you”- final words of twoset
This gave me chills as they passed the keys to the kids. Its now in their hands to continue and flourish.
We are blessed by every musician!
“So take care of this for me, and carry on my legacy” 😭😭😭
You know that you (we) are supposed to be those kids, right?
I will carry on the legacy,i won’t give up!
I felt like I just watched the end of the greatest longest movie ever made and we know there’s going to be no sequel like it.
This will not be your final masterpiece. You both have many masterpieces in you. Thank you for giving us this one.
That s a good one❤
Thank you for such a lovely farewell. Please know that you continue to be appreciated. Good luck in all your future endeavors!
Thank you.
“The end of an era” it has been an honour to be a ling ling wannabe for all these years. Thank you Twoset for everything.
Well said, thank you Brett and Eddy and everyone here, what a journey! Let’s keep practicing and make them proud 👍🎻💕
Thank you twoset! I started watching since 2018, and I was glad to watch your world tour in Toronto last year :) Thank you so much for bringing the classical music community together.
Love you!
Brett and Eddy,
Thank you so much for the past 11 years.
Dear Twoset,
I’ve never commented on your videos before, but I wanted to say, thank you guys so much for everything you’ve done.
Sincerely,
Zoei
6 or 7 years ago I would come across a particular video that would change everything. 21 types of orchestral players. A silly fun short vid based around the orchestra. How cute. Little did I know the tunnel I'd go down over the years. Laughing and learning with joy. Thank you Twoset for everything you have done for the millions of us out here. You've left a mark that will never be forgotten.

Twoset will always have a special place in every classical musicians heart
May Ling Ling keeps going on beyond the timelines🎶💕
And go pRacTIcE!🫵

Love you
You guys will be remembered in a line of classical music comedy following Igudesman and Joo, Peter Schickele and Victor Borge
Dear Brett & Eddy
6 years ago, I discovered you guys on TH-cam while I was still early in my violin learning journey.
I hope you'll be like the famous divas that have many many goodbyes throughout the years. Greetings from Bolivia 🇧🇴
Sweet to see echoes of old videos, like that one where they sat on the floor and got music lessons along with the kids...
One final thank you to Twoset.
You raised a new generation of musicians, and have made an amazing mark on classical music.
❤❤❤❤Thank you
My Dad introduced me to classical music when I was young and I fell in love with it.
The last video of TwoSet Violin, can't believe this is actually here. Thank you for everything and love you guys forever ❤
Hi Brett and Eddy, (read it pls!!!)
When I was 23 years old, I found your 4mil video.
But hey, don't worry!
WHAT HE SAID
What a beautiful story
I could never thank Twoset enough for what they have done for me
Watching them for the last 9 years regularly they’ve been here for me through high school, jobs, homelessness, the Navy half my life TwoSet violin has been here thanks Brett and Eddy for your positive contribution to my life :)
we'll miss you twoset T-T may the falling curtains take you somewhere even better!
