I still cant do a consistent speedflip, its so weird. I feel like I know how to do it but it just doesnt go half of the time. And I have been trying to get it down for 2 years now. 😢
I completely feel that, I’m currently going through a phase of not being able to do any mechanics at all, and I struggle to consistently do them anyway. I think there’s so many factors that contribute to inconsistent mechanics like Wi-Fi connection, input delay and even the wear/tear on your controller that it would be very rare for anyone to be 100% consistent with mechanics. (specifically speed flips) As long as you can do them at the crucial moments, that’s the important thing. And don’t forget that there are other mechanics that can be used in replacement of speed flips if you messing up speed flips is a constant cause of losses
@@ifexd9 I suppose it has to do with my new controller now. For some reason it messes up my half flips more often than usual. I haven't really tried speed flips with it really just yet. What is the second best kick off variation in you're eyes? Diagonal flip is very easy to me and works most of the time for me being high diamond in 2s and 3s.
@punk4rockorz the second best kickoff is the diagonal flip in my eyes, but it depends what wins you kickoffs personally. For me it goes, speed flip, then diagonal flip and if I’m messing them up I go with a wave dash kickoff.
