I think Champ is the Border between Players that can smoothly Include mechanics in their Game play and players that can do mechanics but struggle to effectively use them in games, like you say, Train them and become champ!

I completely feel that, I’m currently going through a phase of not being able to do any mechanics at all, and I struggle to consistently do them anyway. I think there’s so many factors that contribute to inconsistent mechanics like Wi-Fi connection, input delay and even the wear/tear on your controller that it would be very rare for anyone to be 100% consistent with mechanics. (specifically speed flips) As long as you can do them at the crucial moments, that’s the important thing. And don’t forget that there are other mechanics that can be used in replacement of speed flips if you messing up speed flips is a constant cause of losses

@@ifexd9 I suppose it has to do with my new controller now. For some reason it messes up my half flips more often than usual. I haven't really tried speed flips with it really just yet. What is the second best kick off variation in you're eyes? Diagonal flip is very easy to me and works most of the time for me being high diamond in 2s and 3s.

@punk4rockorz the second best kickoff is the diagonal flip in my eyes, but it depends what wins you kickoffs personally. For me it goes, speed flip, then diagonal flip and if I’m messing them up I go with a wave dash kickoff.

I Appreciate Your comment! To answer your Question Your exactly right, I Basically slightly let go of the right trigger to slow down and slightly apply it to speed up. I’ll generally keep the right trigger held between 50% and 100% unless I need to slow down quickly. And I picture it like a car in real life, if your trying to stay at the same speed as the speed limit or in Rocket League the ball then you only need to slightly let go of the accelerator when you want to slow down and only slightly accelerate when you want to speed up in order not to jerk the car around. Hope this Explains things!
