This appears to be a common problem where the central locking won't work on a Citroen Relay - Peugeot Boxer - Fiat Ducato due to the sliding door not completing the circuit.
I tried a few things to fix it, but it turned out to be something and not an electrical problem.

This is the problem I have, except my pin is square and I’m unsure how to pull it out so it’s works properly?
Is that the pin on the door or on the van? Can you send me an image?
On the door side of this switch their is an adjustable button that presses the centre button in, I had I problem and just pulled it out one click. now no issues.
I think I overthought this and was convinced it was electrical. My issue was exactly the same.

@@hugo-a-go-go @foundinthemountainsuk where i can find The button to adjust The button … at The moment i fixed The problem by pushing Some pieces of cardbord behind the sensor so to sticks a bit more out but being able to adjust The mechanism would be better ;)
OK, Find the plunger at the back of the opening and try and press it fully and then try and lock the door. If it locks that tells you that part of the system is OK. So it's probably the plastic tab on the back of the sliding that is not pushing it in fully. So try and an bulld out the item with the plunger so it's closer to the tab. Let me know.
Hi if you cant get the tool in you can just put the bolt in and keep tightening it, this will normaly fix the rivenut in place

I had the same issue but the part had to be replaced and as an extra precaution we also got deadlocks fitted.
I think that is a good idea, you can never be too secure
Thanks for this. All doors lock except the sliding one, it's alarmed when locked but can be opened, triggering the alarm. Door frame sensor is ok, it may be the unit with the plungers. Do you know the part description or number to replace it please?

How do you pop out the switch? I think this is my issue but I can get at the switch
Hi, the unit on the van and door is held in with a plastic popper, if pull out the middle you can pull the rest of the popper out, then the unit has a hook on the bottom allowing you to lift it out. Let me know if I have understood correctly.
