omg that was way more emotional than I anticipated. I didn't realise how nostalgic I'd feel about seeing some of those old projects. I watched every single episode of this cluster, sometimes I'd watch a video whilst having breakfast or in the background whilst I painted, but also sometimes when I just needed an escape and I guess it meant more to me than I really thought. Thanks for everything Syn, here's to the future :')

I started watching you when I was about 10 on my phone and my mom's laptop; and I'm really glad I did. I was bullied a lot when I was younger, but your vids always made me laugh and go "YOU CAN DO THAT!?!!"

When I first started playing ark, I was under the impression that I was just bad at videogames. It was a misconception about myself that I held for a long time, and I allowed it to hold me back. But despite how brutally hard this game was for me, I also found it so fascinating. It was so unlike anything else that I had ever played, and played since, that it pushed me to want to keep playing. It made me want to keep trying through all the hardships a player can experience. Over the years I feel I've kind of had my own "hero's journey" with it. I had my mentors, I had my friends, I had my failures. I put my trust in people I shouldn't have, and payed the price for it, but came out stronger in the end. But I also found my perfect tribemate, someone who will stick with me through thick and thin, but also will push me to find my own strength and have faith in my own abilities. I found places to call my "ARK home", and many times lost them. I have had to start from scratch more times than I can count. I eventually found that I didn't need anyone else to carry me, I found that I had the strength and skill to do anything I wanted on my own, and it was by my choice that I included others on it. Because after all, it is rather lonely to go solo. By the time this whole crazy adventure was over, I truly felt like a hero. I respect this game for the lessons it taught me, and the strength it has brought me over the years. I hope that ARK survival Ascended can capture even a fraction of the awe that I felt way back then when I was so naïve. But whatever comes, I will be ready for it with more strength than I had back then.
I started the same, not being a big gamer with minecraft being the hardest game I had played before it ark was SUPER difficult to me, running away from diplodocus thinking I was gonna die, being jumped by raptors, I remember the time when I finally mustered the strength to take on a t-rex with a few ankys, a bow and arrow and some stone pillars to stand on to steal its aggro, It died really fast because it was only level 1 but that gave me the push to realize this game isnt as hard as it seems, you just need condfidence in yourself and your dinos, then I found a "high level" pteranodon and I liked flying, but the game felt so much worse after flyers, just grazing the sky to get everywhere with no fear of dying, I still have only beaten gamma bosses on mostly normal rates but I did almost beat or completely beat some of arks hardest mods, like primal fear, eternal, pugnacia, I even did pugnacia + eternal, then I went on to omega and never really played ark a little into omega, ark ascended supposedly wont have cryo balls and flyers wont be as relevant which gets me really excited for a more wander based survival adventure, truly tribal, I just hope my computer doesnt explode upon playing it... I had my own adventures discovering how to mutate and charging into battles with hundreds of dinos and pretty much mastering ark, so I hope ark ascended is truly amazing because I to havent found any other games that struck me the way ark does other than minecraft.. I hope you have a fun journey on ark ascended aswell :)

This is deep it hits me hard realizing that my childhood is slowly fading, and the greatest memories I've had playing ark and being able to get off school to watch you play to create things of my wildest dreams, we love you syntac and Appreciate the hard work and determination you put in all the videos to make us enjoy and want us want to go back and enjoy the best moments of our lives. And truly hope ASA, will treat us the same way ark has for the years we love and appreciate your dedication take care and see you soon.

As a single player ark player, your videos helped so much with the knowledge of the tames and taming methods, ideas for building, how items can be used as well as being great entertainment. Seeing your island base again, i remember seeing your farm and wanting something like that haha. I really hope ASA will be the upgrade we all want and like. We need more!

"We Aren't Meant to Live Forever"
Getting to to watch this series grow for three years has been amazing and is the only reason I began to play Ark. It has brought me so much joy every time I saw a video come out never knowing what’s next and then seeing all these crazy cool ideas has just been so special. Really hoping Survival Ascended lives up to the hype so I can watch more amazing content* from Syntac.
I petty much stopped playing Ark about 4 or 5 months ago, which was bitter sweet. I went back to the island where I had been playing since day 1 beta and day 1 when they re-released. I have missed the game, but I saw little point in playing once I found out ASA wasn't just an update but basically a new game. This channel helped me so so much, and it's hard to see it end. I hope to see y'all on the other side!
ASA isn't out yet people saying goodbyes. We don't even know of ASA is going to be good or even works. 😅
@@Alte.KameradenYeah, but after ASA comes Ark 2, so by the time ASA is no longer new and interesting and is completely finished, Ark 2 will be the next big thing. Not many people are going to go back to ASE, and Syntac wont unless something changes clearly.
@@aaronburr956 ARK 2 was supposed to come out years ago. ASA was supposed to come out earlier this year. Still no screen shots, no trailers with footage of the actual games themselves.
Sorry but the Boy who cried wolf is kicking in. At least Mount & Blade Bannerlord 2 had gameplay trailer footage years before it finally came out despite the 'meme' of it never going to be released, which it did get released in the end.
ASA is basically just the same game, but with a graphical update and some mechanical tweaks. If you liked ARK, you will like ASA, because it is the same thing. @@Alte.Kameraden
@@s0515033 You don't know that... they've not presenting any proof really of that as of yet. We also don't know how well the game runs, how buggy it will be, system requirements, etc. We may not even look better, again we don't really know. As of right now I think they've only showed one supposed screen shot, of a raptor's face. That's it.
After years of BS, I'm going to be skeptic, I have zero reason not to be. I mean how man years and the Nerdy Glasses are still bugged on ASE as one of a gillion examples? Why should I have confidence? I mean when they gave the Raptor A TLC they bugged it's attack animation when moving, so it attacks far slower and janky when attacking on the move when someone rides it, again like everything else, never fixed.
Even Rockstar gives people more information than Wildcard has been giving..
This one hit real hard. 164 episodes over 7 years of ARK. I loved watching the series so much, and it really gets me that there won't be any more episodes. Thank you for almost a decade (well, not really a decade...) of wonderful content Syn. Here's to the future and to ASA!

Ark has been a big part of my life since watching Iballisticsquid’s original series in 2015 then discovering you in 2017 and then finally playing for the first time in 2020 after getting my first console for Christmas. It’s been a hell of a journey! Let’s see where this new one takes us!

every single time I play ARK I always think back to my first time playing it, its always so emotional for me because its one of my first games I ever enjoyed, and now that ASA is coming out I feel hope that the new creatures will be great on it, but no matter what we will always remember the veterens, such as yourself syntac, who brought joy into the community, I will always remember watching your videos when I was sick and not thinking about any negative thoughts, just watching. I love your videos so much and no matter what ARK will always be known as a flawless release
I *thought* it looked like there was only one parasaur left at Eggfall when you were in the area during the mjolnir episode. Poor things almost made it all the way to the end of the series, but not quite.

I may be late watching this, but it brought me to tears, ark is my favorite game ever and seeing someone enjoys the same game that I love, even with its bugs and glitches, and make amazing content with it has really helped me through some tough times. I’ve watched Syntac since a little before he started ultimate ark, and watching him for five years has really impacted me. But also seeing Syntac’s ase series come to an end for good made me so much more emotional than I expected. I’m sad to see it end, but I’m also happy that ark is improving.

I wish I could say I was one of those loyal fans that has been watching you since the beginning, but in all honestly, I just discovered this amazing channel about two years ago. I was a major noob at Ark but I always wanted to try actually playing the game the way it was intended instead of treating it as a dinosaur sandbox like I had for 4 years. Then I found you by some miracle and discovered ultimate Ark which I was severely addicted to and it completely transformed me. Now I feel like an experienced ark player even if I haven’t defeated a single boss, and I’m hoping ASA will be a good place for me to apply all the things I’ve learned here and make even more memories alongside you and all the other Syntacers out there with its release. Thank you for giving me that nudge and allowing me to experience my favorite game to its fullest, and just for making such amazing content. OMG you made me all emotional with this video. I started to play ARK at the very beginning and it reminded me of my own adventures in the game, weather from my single player journey as well as the years i spent in pvp…. With over 13k hours of gameplay, this game been my number one game of all time and probably will never been surpassed by any other game!
Lets hope that Ark II will be as good as ASE was! Still having a hard time to turn the page…

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to watch. Syntac I absolutely love watching your videos I have ever since I was little I’m now almost 18. man, i remember your first video, it was amazing, seeing you go, the roads we rode, i'll miss this series. I have gone through many things like this, but we will get rid of the feeling together. But first, we must ascend!
Man, this journey through ark and all of its expensive dlcs has been a good one. I will never forget te memories I made with friends, family and just by myself. I remember the first time I played ark with my brother, I had so much fun and we would have “sleepovers” in each other’s rooms and he would wake me up at midnight so that we could play ark, or Minecraft or some other game. But we would always watch a TH-cam ark video before we went to sleep, and well, that’s how I actually found Syntac and I would watch syns vids and download the mods for myself to pay with (not all of them because my computer couldn’t handle it). I would breed Dino’s to look just like mystic or Winston just because I wanted one like syns. I will never forget ark or the memories that came with it. Although I am exited for asa, I will still miss ark and never forget it or the cluster. So long ark.

I just found Syntac abou 6 months ago and man, I wish I could have been here sooner. It was making me emotional to see how much time and effort you put in and I could feel the emotion you had for these maps and these tames. Looking forward to ASA content.
Binge-watching Ultimate Ark helped me get through the isolation during the pandemic. Have been a fan of yours for years. I am sorry to see Ark go as it is where some of my best memories took place; I am excited about what ASA offers. Best of luck on your journey Syntac.

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to watch. Syntac I have watched your videos ever since I was 13 I’m now almost 18 years old and I still absolutely love watching your videos. Your goofy antics with evo, and Jim, I know that they made everyone’s day just a bit better. To watch you do so much over the years and to end it with one of the best series ever. That actually had me tearing up a little, Ive been watching since youve essentially been uploading Ark, im always looks at your videos for inspirations for builds and everything else. Even when I get a next gen Xbox I will always come back to ark survival evolved every once in a while because it’s the game that pretty much raised me, I started playing it in elementary school and now I’m in my final year of high school and I’m still playing it. I don’t doubt in my mind that I will continue playing this amazing game for years to come even after ark 2 comes out because it’s always going to be my favorite game.
Its been a while since I caught a video, but I used to religiously watch all of your ark videos. Even on the family room tv during covid times. One of my favs. Youre awesome, and you deserve all these new opportunities
