SAP MII has ODATA as well as webservice interface to integrate with beside the interface to classic sap erp. One does not need PCo to integrate anything with SAP MII. However one needs SAP PCo and/Or any middleware to integrate SAP MII and plc. SAP PCo can act as opc server (i dont recommend). In all implementation i did PCo was relying on Kepware.1 A generalised statement however more details are hidden in the capabilities.
