The trick with red threads is actually used by craftsmen who create eye 👁️ prostheses. I just thought about it and you did it on video.👏 Bravo, the best eye hack for dolls and toys.❤
I recently found your channel and am completely in love with your content. Your videos are so calming and I enjoy that you focus a lot on building and making things look pretty. Your building skills are amazing and I can’t wait to see more
You can also use red wool yarn or red wool felt and you brush the fibers out with a wire brush. I think I saw someone who makes actual fake eyes that people wear and they affix it with tweezers after it has been cast. I forget what adhesive they use that's skin safe, but I suppose if you're not using it as a fake eye prosthetic, then you could drag it through clear UV resin and hit it with a UV light.
Wow, I used to do something similar to this! I used mold specifically for eyes though, so I ended up skipping the sandpaper part. No paper lenses either. I just baked the polymer bases, baked, made the colored iris with polymer clay and mica powder, baked again, and then sealed with resin. Eventually I moved on to making a uv resin base, polymer clay and mica iris, and then a uv resin seal. I wish I had this ages ago, however!
Just found your channel, I love it! and this video? its an awesome idea for eyes! I love it! the page for the Iris Print Outs seems to be down :/ does anybody know how can I find it?
Just found your channel and watched a bunch of your videos, they are all great! In the making clay video it looked like you're danish? If you are have you tried out Søstrene Grene's airdrying clay? :)
flamable items next to oven??? that looks dangerous....great video instruction...just worried about your setup area...I keep my flamable items well away from any heat source in my work area.
