She may use ARTIST21 BRUSH PACK pen brushes available on Clip Studio Assets, hope this helps.
Also, try Thick coating Brush Set. Or another 'traditional hand-drawing' brushes for different apps.
+ actually, the plain "●" brush is great for everything! Particularly for drawing specific forms and a clean sketch. That way, you can achieve better anatomy, and so on.
added: ty for pin! I'm glad if someone will use these brushes. I personally find myself using Thick coating Brush set all the time, as it's good for rich coloring, no other brushes could do as good as these for me (for painting grass, creating BG, for anime-style art, etc.). Specifically one brush Paint Normal/flat.
Later, if you want to get that textured look, you can use other dedicated brushes on top of in (in case you would use this brush). But I'm not sure in this step for you if you want to achieve Matchach's style, as I didn't try to draw in that style. In this case, better try it in practice. So, try everything and find what you like, in the end that's what really matters for each artist, and person.
i met matcha literally like 3 days ago it was surreal
HOWWWW
Wow
Wowwiee!! Howw
Now thats a reaction i want.
If i become someone great enough of that reaction
Her art is crazy
"And no lineart because i hate it"
SAME BRO 💀😭
lol I literally read this comment and within a second I had this moment 😭🙏
TEAM LEAVE IT AT SKETCH/CLEAN UP SKETCH GANG!!!
Step 1: Be a good digital artist
LOLLL COULDN’T BE ME
I love how gentle and sweet your lineart looks, it’s like a soft little lullaby
On IbisPaint? Wow that is really an amazing attempt :0 could you do a video on how you rendered the hair and clothes? Maybe a composition one too as I find matcha’s composition very interesting
Thankyou!!:b And Of course! I've already talk about how I render hair, you may check in this channel and maybe there will be a guide video about what you've mentioned soon. Stay tuned!( •̀ ω •́ )✧
ibis isn't a bad art app at all, people underestimate it!
@@Kedamohno mhm it actually has many more features than some paid apps like procreate!
Guys I want to share some advice , don’t try to be exactly like your favourite artist because it will look like you’re trying to copy them , instead incorporate their art into yours ❤ hope this helps someone xx
Can I argue that, you'll never be able to completely copy someone's art, only emulate it to the best of your ability.
To any beginner artist: copy your favourite artists art. Draw what makes you want to improve. You'll find your own artstyle along the way. And, there's nothing wrong with wanting a similar artstyle to someone else.
@@am_Nein yea , there’s nothing wrong with practicing another style and wanting to draw similar, what I meant was try not to beat yourself up if it doesn’t look exactly the same because if it looks the same it will look like you’ve got no original style , you get what I’m trying to say I’m really bad with words lol
Thank you for all the comment!! REALLY appreciate it. I may have spoken too quickly and missed some important explanations. I'll try to do better in the next video! Thankyouu(。•̀ᴗ-)✧
Man thank you so much, your tutorial also really helpful
THANK YOU SM
Are you sure your using the dip pen cuz I have no idea how to colour like that 😭😭😭
I see that Kafka pfp 👀
4:42
To add noise in Ibispaint, you go to the effects, artistic, then click on noise. Adjust noise to preference
Thankyou i didnt knew
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! i've been trying to learn matchach's techniques for the longest time!!
“What if I eat pizza tonight?”
i noticed that a lot of color theory is in her pieces, like in the miku one, complimentary colors are used, everything is blue but i see peach colored outlines
Im so glad ppl are finally putting out matcha study vids on youtube 😩 she's literally one of the most outstanding artists on twt,, not a single bad piece from her every post shines literally so this is very helpfull thankyou!!!
OMFG ive literally been searching for style study videos on matchach for ages, you’re a lifesaver for this one 😭💕
In ibis paint, there is a filter tab, you can add noise and chromaic abbrviation from that tab. Nice video.
Thanks for the tip! I would like to try it ^ ^
“NO ONE CARES ABT MY HUMOR FR” i was literary laughing at your jokes and agreeing with you. Best artist i know ❤
I kinda really amazing how you can just draw and render like her art style TT I too am trying to learn her art style 🥲
Fyi theres noise and chromatic abbreviation in Ibis paint too, matcha art style works well there too , and brushes the soft turnip pen(bleed) when changing type to water helps a lot and close to matcha's brush
I see.. Thankyou for the tips! Really appreaciate it ^ ^
The picture in the thumbnail,I have it saved in my camera roll from Pinterest and i drew it on a piece of papear bc the matcha art was so cute, and also for inspiration!
Your first miku attempt blew me away.... And your original portrait is so pretty too!!! Im sure youll get some traction for this.
I love how fast matcha-sensei draws, like???? There are still many works of art they have created on Weibo that have not been posted on Twitter 😢
For the brush, try find a soft brush and increase the wetness! (Turn on watercolor in settings) I tried it and it worked really well which made a more accurate drawing!
I see... Thank you for the helpful explanation, really appreciate it ! (・∀・)
never in my life a 5 minutes 38 seconds video scare me this much. i can feel the time spent in that short speedpaint like dude, the effort- 😭
0:25 homura akemi!!!! also her arts looks so sick holy cheese, i wish i'lll be able to draw like that
same, she has so much skill 😭😭 i’ve never loved an art style this much it’s just so oretty
I smell... an underrated youtuber artist.
omg i love matcha's art!! ive been following for a couple years and her art never fails to impress me it always looks like candy 😋
this is an amazing breakdown :) great job!
WHAT THAT LOOKS INCREDIBLY SIMILAR you did such a good job!!
the results of your study really shows, great job!!
This is amazing!! Short, bite sized content and very informative and well structured explanation too! I'm subscribing!! This is golden content 🤩
Woah I think this is REALLY impressive!!! You literally captured Matcha's art style and coloring well!!!
It's impressive that you managed to break down the process down and copy it! It looks really good! This was interesting :)
I like how you convey the lesson so calmly❤❤
yeaayyy i love artist breakdowns, i learn the most from it and u explain so well! thank u 🙏 😁😁
The hair turned out so pretty in yours!
Great analysis of her work!
this is actually really useful, thank you!
when I looked closer at Matcha's pieces (specifically the cinna x miku collab one ) I saw a kind of watercolor effect at the bottom, currently trying to copy that-
I love videos that chew on the art styles, and, as my mom would say, spit out how to do them step by step. Even tho every art style is different in their own ways, these steps could be applied to any art style, just changed a little
this is so helpful, thanks for sharing us!! :333
OMG!! I FEEL HONORED (●'◡'●), glad if it helps :b
Actually such a good video !! Thanks for this
I discovered today that I put your art on wallpaper and I didn't even know 😨
Thankyouu!!! It's the first time I found someone put my work on their wallpaper :b, I felt honored. I bet the fuxuan one?
I was the 1000th like!! That was so satisfying 😌
Also, thank you for this run down!! It will really help me with adding more contrast 💯🤩
First time seeing your video, you're very charismatic and didatic, love it!
Tysm for this video, ive been starting to get bored of art and not enjoy making it as much. But this video where you made amazing art using ibis paint made me wanna do it again (maybe because of envy lmao) I have no doubt you'll become successful with your art and your channel!
Thank you so much for this!
very helpful, thank you!!!
could you do a more in depth step in rendering or an explanation on it, especially the face and hair in matcha's style, clothes too if you can squeeze it in
Really nice video and the result looks good
Only thing that I would point out is that in ur previous art, all colours are unsaturated and really similar in term of lightness which makes ur art look dull
And for this video drawing, only the right eye looks weird (its too far placed)
Sorry if that makes you feel uncomfortable ╯︿╰ .Thanks for the advice, really appreciate it!
matcha 100% has one of my favourite art styles, if not my favourite, so thank you so much for this 😭 i’ve always wanted to find out how to draw like her
Thank you so much! This is a great video :D
U JUST USED IBIS PAINT FOR THIS THATS INSANE!!!! Thank u for this I love matcha’s arrwork so much‼️‼️‼️
You helped a lot thank you
i didnt know the artist was matcha but i saw this art style and just fell in love with it!
im trying to improve my art by drawing sketches for 30 days and will use this art style in it
so thank you so much for this tutorial
by the way that miku drawing you made was so similar to her style and so beautiful
i think that matcha uses a hard and small brush to do the eyelids and thats just a detail i noticed
This gives me tppo vibes
This was really helpful, thanks a lot!!
Matcha is one of my fav artists and I wanted to incorporate slme parts of her artsyle into mine lol
I found your channel by chance and it was the most beautiful coincidence
my first illustration was kind of bad two months ago and rn my illustration are improving
ibispaint has noice and chromatic aberration in the “filter” section
bro is literally matcha 😭😭🙏🙏💗💗💗
THIS IS SO GOOD ❤❤
great video, thank you
he is the only one artist i understand
Beautiful ❤❤ also we want more videos like this
Very useful tips :DD
Omg you did a study on my biggest art inspiration
omg youre such a real one for using ibis paint because im tired of seeing procreate/photoshop artists on my feed because i can't use the same pens
영어로 들어서 약간 이해가 안되는 부분이 있었지만 영상을 보며 천천히 파악하니 배울수 있었네요😊그동안 줄곧 배우고 싶었던 채색법인데 참고용이라도 배우게 되어 좋아요😍
THIS IS SO GOOD WTHHHHH
Okay but I love your humor tho 😂 This was so helpful thank you so much!
This is just insane, your insane.
so lesson of all of this: TAKE TONS OF INSPIRATION FROM OTHER AMAZING ARTISTS
It still amazes me how people can draw without lineart 😭 like howw
If I did it, by the time I finish rendering and zoom out the piece, I’d probably notice a massive f-up in my drawing that is already too late to fix 😭😭
Match is my role model 💚
matcha is my fav artist omg
i never knew who matcha was till this vid
You can do the noise and chromatic by going to filters > artistic > scroll till u find them
I see.. Thankyou for the tips ( ╹▽╹ )
magical mirai 10th anniversary miku in thumbnail = banger video
beautiful, i learned new things like noise texture and chromatic abberation. i am a chinese , the translator didnot work well. it translated the lighting effects to "炫光效果",and i am confused, then i realized that it may mean “二分” in chinese😂
please make more videos like this!
This was really helpful! I can't believe this is underrated. I was blown away by your copied study and the attempt. I can only imagine the time and effort you put for this. Not to mention, the editing process it took for the this video... That's some huge dedication there! On a side note, I like your humor!
Btw, QUESTION. The part when you said strengthen the contrast (after setting the shadow), did you do it on another layer with normal blending mode?
Oh wait you already mentioned it in your attempt chapter. It's linear dodge layer. My bad. Must have missed that part. I got too focused on your timelapsed process
THANKYOU SM!!。◕‿◕。. If you have other Questions or something that confuses you, you can just ask me :b. Thanks again
tysm you're doing gods work 🙏subbed
Do another study of her art
When I wanna be this but I’m a traditional artist
Really like the video
I love matcha so much
Another lovely artist that hates lineart (I'm not really an artist, I just try to draw really well cause its fun when you can make nice pieces like the people you admire)
Btw this study was really helpful, with digital art that is. Btw hope you get a better mic. or maybe I need a new laptop....
Yea, I feel the same wayヾ(•ω•`) and I'm very happy if you were helped by this video! and also your guess is also correct about the mic, I will prioritize that xD
Your art… Even if it is in Matchas style it looks yummy 😋
Ure actually so funny, i laughed watching this🤣💜
In ibis paint, you just go to filters and noise + the other one should be in there!
NOT VERY SIMILAR?? IT LOOKS SO GOOD,D!D,D,D!d!d
heavenly
Fun fact: some of MATCHA’s art is Miku themed
Trying this
I love it
Good
I tried matcha’s art as well let’s say it did turn out ok
* *Adds to Clip Studio Paint playlist* *
I would love if u could do a video about what brushes you use in ibisPaint and how u use them that would be a brilliant idea for a video and helpful!!🙂
Thanks for the idea :b. But I only use dip pens (brush) and airbrush in all of my works with costumized opacity. I'm not good at using other brushes xD
@@Eico._I find it amazing how you can draw such stunning artwork with just those brushes! Love your art :3
went to an anime festival last year in hope i could met her in person, sadly it was a scam :)
