Just a tip when landing the f-16, you may have noticed that the brakes are very weak, you are supposed to keep like 10 alpha with your rear wheels rolling to air brake while slowing down, you can then use the brakes when your speed is low enough for the nose to fall by itself
I tried to do that in WT, I don't think it is possible .. I'm holding pitch up button and air brake ON while landing, I mean how to do it?

I have a question about the stability modes. In manual I can trim the planes to flight straight and level, but when I switch to stability or level flight, I get a slow annoying right side yaw, which I cannot use trim to stop. Am I missing something, or is that normal behavior?

Man I wish the A-10 Late had 65B's they look so much more useful than the 1x zoom 1st gen thermals the D gets :(

Be happy with your IR guided Mavericks. B's are implemented incorrectly, plus theyre still mavericks, so they suck in general when it comes to damage.
Hell no even a bad thermal is better than no thermal at all, plus Ds have way better tracking

@@zenitu6914 D variant has gen 1 thermals + TV camera, but very low zoom. B variant has only TV guidance but has a lot more zoom.

When I was also playing f16 in sim yesterday, I noticed I was gaining SL. It was like 11k to spawn in and I usually ended gaining 10k after I die

I didn't play the game to be honest .. maybe only Ace Combat 2 a little bit on PS1 ages ago, but I love the music of the series :)

I play air sim in VR and cant get the tv guided AGM on the A10 to work. The camera just twich and jumps around and i cant get a lock. Last time i played it a had a game with 3 takes of, used all missiles and got one kill. Thats like 1 hit of 18 Do anyone know what im doing wrong? Seems to work fine in Realistic. So for me groundpounding dont work at all. cous with the bombs i get one hit by surface to air missiles or cannons instantly. Since the bombsight dont work either... lol
Is the F16A still a good contender for SIM? Or should I grind the C version and stick with it?
Go for the C and enjoy AIM-9M and TGP.

It is enduring confrontation .. infinity spawns but pay SL every time you spawn. Better than return to hangar every 5 mins. The battle in sim can last for two hours or even more.

When you fire a maverick, how do you have it that when you are going to fire a second one your crosshairs for the second maverick is right where you fired the first one??? Because when I fire a maverick and try to shoot a second, the crosshairs reset to where my nose is pointing.

what are people like in Air Sim? I'm just looking to try it to help get modules researched for the F16s and eventually the F14s, is it anything like the chaos of either Air RB or even worse, AB?
Infinity spawns, longer battles and definitely more tactical than Air RB. And you can do both, air to air or ground pounding. The bad thing about Air Sim is you can end in unbalanced battles like 9v4 players I mean .. but you can leave and look for another room. And also another bad thing about it is friendly fire is more often than in Air RB, using a plane with IFF radar is highly recommended.
@@Hunter_i86 thanks mate :) I wish I could find a coach or something to teach me how to be a better pilot/gamer. I’ll watch more sim videos and practice sim battles in test drive and custom battles, hoping to get a stick and throttle soon too lol.

@@Mibarri Disable sight stabilization button, it will remove the red square mark and get the TV sight back to default position.

Relative control, SAS modes "damping" help a lot to stabilize the plane.

I do that on every single plane.
From the F105 to my Mirage F1C 200 to the F4J... Only time i turn on when i use radar guided missile,looking for enemies,i can't identify the aircraft in front of me
