I met Tom Hatten at a dinner party in Los Angeles on March 28, 2017. He's now 90 and a little frail but still mentally sharp. He's an extremely nice man, too.

I remember watching this show on the weekends. One of the best times I had was when I saw "The Incredible Mr. Limpet."

RIP Tom Hatten. A fixture of my childhood watching TV on the weekends while growing up in LA in the 70s-80s.

Awesome! I always remember seeing the Pipi Longstocking movies on FFF back in the 80s. Glad no one has disliked this because that'd just be ridiculous.

Ahh, nostalgia! Lazy Saturdays or Sundays in the 80's. If black belt theatre was not on kcop, I would find my way to Tom Hatten on ktla. He showed a lot of Pippi Longstocking episodes too.

Thank you Tom Hatton for so many great weekend afternoons watching Pippi and the Little Rascals on KTLA's Family Film Festival. So awesome being a kid in Los Angeles back then. KTLA used to be a great station.

He added so much value and you learned so much about the movie he was presenting. Even though the movie he was presenting was 40 years old, he reinvented the movie and made it brand new.
