I was surprised how smooth the footage from my mini 3 pro was when i used it during heavy winds next to a cliff a while back. Must have been 85-90kmh. So impressive from a 249g drone
@@nicolapetrovic8427 he is saying that the drone can go faster than 40km because its limited by software, so in this case (High winds) it can go for example 100km so it can fight against the wind. Of course its not sending it 100 km but it spin it’s fan at faster rpm that if it was in normal conditions it will go 100km/h. The conclusion that the battery will run out faster
I had a mini 1 (still have it but gimbal just won't work anymore) an I tested it at 18m/s wind and the drone was still producing great footage, mad respect for the engineers!
I am super impressed how well my mini 3 does in strong winds. The wind warning comes on quickly, but the drone is fine. The only time i have ever had real problems was when a cliff caused strong updraft which was stronger than the drone's ability to decent. I had to fly it 500 meters away to land where it could decent and land.

It's already past 45 degrees, if you look closely, the wings, which normally would stretch straight across, are tilted at an angle that to the naked eye tips past 45 degrees mostly, somewhere like maybe 60, maybe 65 degrees. The poor device looks like at times that it's about to tip over 😯 That wind is super strong!!! 🌬💨

My Mavic 3 isn't too bad in the wind to be honest, holds fairly good, my Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 was amazing in wind though
