The good old days! I would watch Chips with my late father back in the late 70's early 80's when i was around 10 years old. He was a policeman for 33 years in a Chicago suburb. He passed in 2012 i miss him so much he was my hero.
The best part about these. 2 special men..is they both came to Christ.. First Larry..then later thru Larry..so did Eric..so now they gwt to be in eternity also... Love them both.. can't wait to meet
The song for the tribute of CHIPS was beautiful...the lyrics itself says alot.....i was and will always be one of the show fateful fan. The entire acting cast members were great. However, my favorite actor was Erik Estrada his charm and his easy going personality not to mention his smile and sense of humor said a lot about him, unlike Larry Wilcox although he was a nice person who also had a great smile, but his personality came across more as a serious individual, although there were times in the show were he losen up a bit and you could see a different person. Both of them as well as the whole cast members is what made the show successful. It is a pity the show didn't go beyond the sixth season. My hope is that they continue to show the re runs of the show on a regular basis...
