- Welcome back to Majestic Pinball, today I have something a little different for the channel as I will be showing you a wonderful and very unique bowling game called Ten Strike Classic made by Benchmark in 2003. This is so cool. I was looking for this pinball machine. I kept seeing videos of bowling pinball machines with flippers and I knew I played one a real long time ago with a little guy who throw the ball. I remember playing it at a place in Brooklyn called More Fun, around 1976/1977.
There have been a couple of different mannequin bowlers made throughout this years, this is by far the most recent though. Great fun, thanks for watching! :D

There were several arcades along the walk at Weirs Beach New Hampshire which had lots of those fascinating and now very antique (I'm 63) game machines which used the steel pinballs. One I recall was a bowling machine nearly identical to yours here. There was also a golfing machine which was about four and a half feet long with several tees and holes. There were small figurines of golfers at each tee whose club the player would control with dials and a button on the outside of the machine. The baseball machines were terrific, too . I love all the cool old games like what you mentioned. They don't make them like that anymore, everything is just animated and stuck on a massive screen now - Sadly the days of mechanical ingenuity in amusement equipment are long gone I think.
