There was one of these at Broome County airport in upstate NY. We would pick up our aunt there every Thanksgiving, and I'd look forward to playing it while we waited for her flight to arrive. It used two balls almost as large as candlepin balls. It only cost a dime.
Love to have one of these for the garage, for I love to bowl but the local bowling alley burned down... This solves all the problems of building a bowling lane from scratch as I had wanted to do, but I fear one of these would be quite expensive to buy...Just out of curiosity what does one of these cost and where can you get one? By the by, it IS technically possible to pick up the 7-10 split in real bowling, it's just insanely hard.
However converting the 7-10 even on Real Bowling is still impossible, you have to hope for luck even if you're powerful enough to throw a ball at 25mph or faster. On the PBA Tour, there's only about 4 Bowlers convert the 7-10 on live TV in history and on the PWBA Tour, there's none.

real bowling the 7/10 can be picked up because of the pin action. You just can't get pin action on this.

why would the scoring dials go up to 999.....300 is the highest score you can bowl xD
