The water looks like the most beautiful painting in heaven, then the mossy walls look like 1980's graphics

gokusondbz Stories: The Path of Destinies is on sale for $0.74. Looks like a fairly decent game too. Multiple endings. Grabbing that one.

So many missed opportunities it seems in this one - my first thought was - I get to dive off that tower? Cool .. nope .. or swim with that big warty whale .. eugh .. nope .. phew!
It's really impressive the amount of titles you cover.

the most important things is...there is no replay value in this game at all!!!! i do prefer to sleep rather to play this game again....for no reason or whatsoever....guess developer just want to earn a quick bucks
I like the idea but just don't like the look of it. The char you control seems to glide rather than actually walk on the ground.
I think if you forgo combat and danger then the developer really needed to make the act of traversal interesting to the point it fills that gap.
I'll probably give this one a miss but thanks for the review.
Are those humanoid zombie mutants in anyway helpful or just there to check out Miku?
And now that unity is a thing every man and their dog is using it, The Golf Box I believe was made by an Australian with unity and it was a great looking game with great animation

Hour to an hour and a half long? Really? And at $20 , that's crazy. If it was $5, maybe. Even that though, could seem like too much for what seems like hardly any gameplay.

Thanks for the review, its on sale atm on Steam.. But I'm still going to pass. I've got far too many games in my watch list which would seem to be better games than this one, as pretty as it did look.
so many smaller games are introduced as "by the ex-devs of ...." but most of the time it a tenuous connection - AAA studios have such big teams youre bound to find an ex-dev somewhere.. (but it seems to be an advertising move that works in previews)

*Before* you mentioned absence of failure state i was like "Alright, i gotta find those meds for the little brother,so he wont die" and 1-1.5h with 19,99 $ (or your regional equivalent) is bit too much,since im not completionist. But if this ever pops up during winter sales,i might buy it.

I think having dangerous plant-life and some unfriendly animals/creatures just roaming around might help make it feel more alive. It did look interesting though and I bust a gut every time you say "walking simulator", I just love that phrase.

Its £3.99 it might be worth it...
Was going to buy this after seeing it was made by Australians, I like to support us Australians, especially indie developers, but the game just looks boring and unfinished. Might wait for it to be free for PS+ members until I play it, it's a shame because there's not many Australian indie developers
I thought it was a mobile game, there is even a Epoch 2 banner.At least the graphics are very mobile like. Not that this is a problem, I like mobile games too. At least seems well ported.
Karak as a critic, how do you manage to play through games that are mostly boring and you don't really want to play but still push on through and manage to be unbiased and give a review covering the positives. Also by boring how can you be sure you're not just played out at that moment from too many other games. How can you give a fresh view each time? This is not specific question about this game, and you didn't sound bored or anything.. it's just something I feel and wondered how you overcome that?

I have nothing against "artistic" games like Journey and many others...but this game is just boring. And the UI...ugh! It seems that the developers did their best to make the less immersive game of all times!

i think you focus a little bit too much on graphic....as long as you can understand what you are seeing I think it's dosent hurt that much depending on what type of gamers you are....game for game or game for graph

I don't get this exploring/walking simulators. There has to be an antagonist or at least some sort of urgency otherwise why play?. If you can't die/loose in a game is like when you play any game with "god mode" cheat, it will quickly get boring
yakza5 Even from an artistic standpoint not having the ability to die is wrong. After all what is the theme of the game besides two children trying to survive in a dangerous world which is rendered moot by the fact that neither of them can die.
Minecraft is no walking simulator, you can build in Minecraft, its a sandbox not an exploration/walking simulator.
