Cathode ki rod ko ghar leke Jana and jhatakna....??? Na is highly reactive... Don't you think it will catch fire..? How to take Sodium metal from cathode...?
Sir if all metals which are more reactive then hydrogen can react with water then why lead do not reacts with water even if it is more reactive then hydrogen.
This is bcz lead has an oxide film just like you studied in your magnesium ribbon experiment. So this oxide film reduces the reactivity of lead which is below the oxide film cuz water cant reach to that part.

How electrons can be to Na+ as it has valency +1 so it will loss electron rather than gaining....... But it is also right that on cathode there is always reduction means gain of electron..... So confusing 😵plzzzz clear it.... 🙏🙏🙏
Yes, Na + hai 1 electron in valence shell so it will loose electron...and if any element loose electron then it will have positive charge also called electr positive element And in cathode there is reduction means gain of electron So, the conclusion in Na have positive charge
