Thanks for posting that SRA. Funny, like Great Lakes, I had also settled on a very similar program. What I like about it is you can use Notch in different ways to really enhance hunting in the iron. You can also use the tone bins in Full Tones to fine tune what you are hunting for. Max Freq at 40 kHz seems to work best all around but as you say, dropping it to 24 works fine. I tend to run Reactivity lower than you, even in the iron. I just swing slower. I think a lot of folks will enjoy your Sweeper program.

Thank you LC ! Just be careful with notch but use it accordingly based on your site and it will be fine. Reactivity I always start with 2.5 on new sites and then hunt it that way if it is heavy iron I bump up to 3 or 4 if necessary after I have hunted it that way then I start lowering reactivity to get deeper after I have removed some of the bigger pieces of iron. Max Frequency of 40 works best in heavy iron even XP has told me that as well. But I will drop down to 24 and sometimes up the offset to 15 in Full Tones. The good thing is with the D2 is how you can customize for your sites and different hunts. Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for all of your support it is much appreciated ! SRA (Brian)

I have been running the sweeper program in a old well hunted park so far 2 Merc dimes and 2 Walking Liberty half dollars, the halfs were in the same hole.

Similar to what I’ve been running , I’ve really come to like sensitive full tones . I was hesitant on getting the 11x13 coil as I primarily dive and water hunt. Well it squeezed out a few missed targets in a heavily hunted swim area . Only bad point is it likes to float I had to zip tie a 1lb weight to my dive shaft to keep the deus 2 from popping up like a cork while digging my targets. But I’ll take that small - when I pull two gold rings in a spot I thought I cleaned out.

Still having the problem... Good sound as a non metal target for big iron....in 80s ID range...

Big iron will false in many occasions the trick is to turn on it usually when you turn on it it will give you some indication of iron. The audio too has a distinct sound as well on big iron it’s what I call forced sound. It doesn’t sound smooth sounding. You can also tell by how loud the target sounds as well.
Another good thing to try is turn down the iron volume to 0 usually the audio may break some
