This turned out soooo awesome, August. I love the little cell things that popped up in the painting that has more of the pleats in it (the high pleat one). I'm especially fond of the outcome on that one. It's sooooo cool. Go figure, though, it seems like what makes me like the high pleat one best are the same things you don't love so much about it. Isn't it interesting how we each can prefer the opposite things? Some of my own least favorite paintings I've created were the first ones chosen when i brought a bunch to a showing. I almost did not even bring the ones I didn't like but some inner nudge told me to bring them and the people liked those better! LOL. Go figure! 😂😂😂

It is amazing to watch all the steps and see the way they each turn out for the low and high pleats . What happens to the excess paint that spills at the sides ? Just a curious DIYer thinking how to repurpose or reuse the extra paint 🧐
Hi!! Thanks so much for being here! The paint that goes over the sides gets scraped up and then once I have enough I’ll use it as the pillow (bottom) paint for a new painting. This stuff is too expensive to waste, lol. I hope you enjoy the week!
