I have said before and I will say it again it’s no nonsense bonsai, using nature to show you the way, you can’t beat nature I am looking forward to using the screening mesh when the time is right to repot my trees. Thank you once again for a great video. ,
"Nature influnces my decision rather than I impose on nature" is my key fountain for doing this. Thank you again for clarity of thought and sharing your thoughts on what you do. ❤
Love that it gives me so many ideas..I live in North Carolina in the country , very close to mountains. Such great views. I will be able to get some windblown trees and i will look for a stump also while hiking .Thank you again for giving me such great advice. I have been doing a lot of wrong thing with my bonsai trees. For example i start my trees in a small pot not letting them grow. I also will have a garden of trees where my vegetables were grown . it has a lot of very rich black soil . Thank you again you also help my health as i watch most of your videos while walking on my treadmill..
Again you show us that ‘no matter its current appearance’ you can design it to highlight and enhance that tree. Some might have discarded it and given up a future interesting and unique bonsai. I’m going to try your soil mixture and use screening this coming spring. Thank you.
The mesh screen is such great advice. So many would benefit from that knowledge! Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us as you designed the tree. Hearing your thought process helps me understand how I should be thinking when approaching my trees. Your naturalistic philosophy is beautiful!
What a very interesting tree somewhat unique in it own right.. id keep going back looking at it will be pretty amazing once it grows out and branching starts to get more filled in and put in place.. great bark on it as well what a neato tree
Awesome Tree!🏆 If it were mine, I would use what you're using as the back-side, as the Front.. exposing the hole😊 lots of interest on that side(to Me).. That's what makes 'Art' so great.. no right or wrong
Thank you foer your comment Damon. A good bonsai should look good at all angles...for sure the front and the back. You are right, so am I., Right? Milton
Speaking of growing zones... I plan to move from zone 10b to a 5-6 by March. Any tips for moving bonsai through zones? In addition...there are trees id like to dig up and bring with me.
I liked what you said. You let nature influence your design and not force your design on nature. I will remember that with my trees.
Definitely! I want my trees to emulate the beauty of nature!

Thanks for the continuous support and kind words, Joe!
I love hollow trunk bonsai literally the most epic bonsai-like tree you can have!

Yes! My goal with my bonsai designs is always to emulate the beauty of nature.
This is one of my fav ones
I like growth from something tossed away. It’s life coming from decay. It’s so symbolic. And it speaks a lot to me.
Love this interpretation!

As always, most of my trees stay in the natural garden, but it gives me ideas! Thank you my friend!
Thanks! Have fun with your bonsai! :)
