While I think what your doing needs to be done people need to see what's going on down there.......but every channel has given these addicts fame......I hope she gets clean but let's be honest the cold winter is driving her into rehab not a desire to get clean

Thanks for doing that! I give locally but, these days, I can’t afford shipping. I think about what these folks would like all the time and I’m glad someone got Amber a coat she needed and likes! When I was on the streets and got something I needed AND I really liked it, that was the best day EVER! I still remember when someone donated a bright yellow coat I got, when I was 19 and expecting my daughter. Not only did it fit, it was really warm and my favorite color! Another year, I got an ankle length down coat. I was walking and taking the bus all the time and I don’t know what I would have done without it! Grateful to be 6 years in recovery and be able to buy a long down coat this year! Hope it’s warm, when it’s -30 degrees Fahrenheit, like the donated one! Someone stole my coats out of my storage unit last year, so not everything has changed, but at least I can replace them, now 😊! I remember whole strings of years when I didn’t have a winter coat, so what you did for Amber is HUGE! Much love ❤️.
I always think every interview with Amber will be the last one. Jeff you are a good man, much respect. It must be depressing to interact with the people you do. You are probably the only nice guy a lot of these people see and talk too on any given day. I could never be that close to some of them. I fall in Love too easy and always think I can save them from themselves. Respect

Amber has been to jail multiple times, comes right back to Kensington. Amber has been to rehab multiple times. Returns to Kensington immediately to get dope. Apparently REHAB is boring, and they won’t give her money. So sh leaves.

Great interview as usual Jeff. Nice to see Amber was not to high to speak clearly. Hope she gets help with her heart as im dealing with that. The cold and drugs are very dangerous for this condition. Do your documentary Jeff,atleast you have past experience and can put alot of depth into it. Ive watched Kensington drug scene for 6 years now. Thank you for clearing up the (talking Amber out of rehab) rumor. It makes perfect sense that a user of opioids can not just stop abruptly without the help of methadone. . Suboxone.I am addicted myself and I would never consider a Florida rehab.

I went cold turkey off of all opiates and xanax. I did end up seizing and going to the ER, so it is possible. Not so sure about the tranq though, that crap wasn't around then, thank God!!
Well you can obviously stop opiates by themselves, but it's very rare people do, and you will absolutely be sick and miserable to the extreme. The horrible feeling of having no more opiates is one of the main reason for crimes. I mean came off methadone and fentanyl cold turkey and have 8 years clean in March. I was on these opiates every day for over 12 years at least, as well as alcohol and cocaine at times, but opiates were the main issue. I was fed up, moved out state, and had no where to get drugs. I felt like I was being tortured for at least a month with withdrawing, and regretted it almost every second. I didn't sleep at all for a month, except for micro sleeps for seconds at a time. Methadone withdrawal specifically is NO JOKE, it's next level serious and torture. That said, looking back i'm extremely happy I went through it, even though I would suggest tapering to all people trying to get off opiates, but i'm glad because it's now over and I will never have to do that again. My way was crazy, but I was desperate to just be done with all drugs. I now live in my beautiful home with my beautiful family, and things could not be much better. I have come a long way, and have achieved a lot since I got off everything. Basically 18 all the way to early 30s all I ever wanted to do was get high. Now my health and fitness is top notch good again, and I workout every day, as well as meditate for the mind. Those things are very very useful and positive for anyones life. I actually hope my long story inspires someone else to get clean if they happen to read some of this. Anyone can do it in my opinion if they want it badly enough.
Amber is an enigma. She is a pretty young lady, but her lifestyle is taking a toll. Lately she’s been going to the hospital quite often. Lord knows she’s well known by the staff there as in “…you know, the addict with the dollar signs on her face…”. She’s typically high when she’s being interviewed which makes me believe that’s her normal state. Even still she’s witty so she has a natural intellect. I feel sorry for both her and her family. I truly hope she holds to her promise to go to rehab, and soon! Going now may be her only shot at ever finding anything close to a normal, reasonably happy life. Living hard takes a heavy toll. Please do it Amber, while you’re able bodied enough to have a successful recovery and future life. It’s time!
Yeah, having to the hospital all the time is a bad sign. Addicts usually avoid that for a while, but once their body gets to a point where they have to go there all the time because of mounting problems then that's a serious problem, especially when you're out there and continue to do this. She could overdose as well. She likely doesn't have long left in her life if she doesn't get clean or make improvements on some level. Lets hope she gets clean and improves her life. I'd like to see her clean and happy one day.

Hi Jeff...as someone that had a decade long heroin IV problem and 3.5 years clean, it makes me really happy to see someone else with past substance abuse history get clean and then care enough to help others. You can't get a masters degree in this stuff, and so many people that go through it never make it out. It's great to see someone take the rare opportunity to spread their knowledge after overcoming this battle. Wishing the best for Amber, I hope you find a solution this winter and are able to get out of the cold. I also really hope there will be some new medications and treatments available to help combat this new wave of drugs. It's a scary thought that suboxone and methadone won't work for withdrawal from tranq. This creates a huge problem because most people won't make it past the first day.

Jeff if you can do a documentary on Kensington I think the big question is how Philadelphia has allowed it to turn into such a hell-hole. The addicts themselves have made their choice, I never believed that drug addiction is a disease, anyone with a disease would do anything to get rid of their condition and once they did would never want the disease to return. It's just not the same with drug addicts.
Your "belief" has nothing to do with whether or not addiction is a disease. Unless perhaps you have performed some scientific research on how addiction impacts the brain (or doesn't in your case) that only you are privy to......is that the case? That must be it. You're one of those "did my own research" types aren't you??
It's incredible that you believe that you know better than the professionals who have researched addiction. If you had been through it yourself, you'd have a very different POV.

I like the fact you don’t only talk about just drugs with her. You talk about life foods and other stuff that takes their mind off drugs and back to reality a little bit. Normal conversations really helped me out in my recovery. I hate talking about war stories. Would rather anything else.

Caring about people it's not a crime as long as there are firm boundaries set. I can say that Jeff you have never exploited Amber by putting footage out while she is obviously not in the right state of mind that I have seen. I don't know the drama I don't really wanna know the drama because it's all a damn shame. Everybody's got one common goal but no one seems to be able to bring unity into the Kensington TH-cam universe.

I was a heroin addict for over 10 12 years and I quit without 12-step programs or rehabs or detox and that worked for me, but those programs in Florida are just a cash grab and you can't escape yourself. You do have to escape everybody that you're currently talking to though but at some point or another you're going to have to make a choice to not be triggered things people or places and using those as excuses to keep using because they're all just excuses you're using because you have unresolved trauma. You may not even know what that trauma is, but this is how your body is reacting it is very real and you need to sort yourself out
I was using H for 10 years.....on subs for 5. Amber has an awesome personality and still young and beautiful. She can do just about anything that she wants to do.....if you can survive in Kensington you could do just about anything that you really want to do. Most people don't realize just how hard it is to live one day as an addict. It makes you a warrior but it keeps you in handcuffs at the same time. I wish you the best Amber...love to see you get out of there !!❤
As a recovering addict of 20 years, I can tell you, the mind is such a powerful thing. If people just knew how good it is on the other side once you get through it, they would be more inclined to seek treatment. These people really need to use the power of the mind..
Amber is not ready to get cleaned. Because if she was ready to get cleaned. She would get go to rehab and get cleaned. She cares more about money and getting high

I've been off Methadone for about 3 1/2 months and I'm 39, it hasn't been my first rodeo by any means but it is possible. I know you can do it Amber. I know at least 4 people who got off methadone by tapering down and never did opiates again. I have a crazy crazy story where I came off methadone, fentanyl, and coke cold turkey on purpose after 12 years of daily use. I have 8 years clean off everything, and live in my beautiful home with my incredible family now. I moved out of state to where I could not get anything on purpose. Methadone cold turkey withdrawal is absolute torture though. I was being tortured for at least a month and regretted doing it the whole time. I yelled, moaned, and cried many times. That said, I'm very glad I did it looking back, since I am now off it for good and my life is in order. So many people really really struggle to get off though, congrats on getting off methadone successfully. If you really want off though then you'll get off, that's what I tell people. Never go crazy and do it my way. Taper down, and most people say it's not bad at all tapering, not until you get low like 5 to 10mgs, then you'll feel it a bit.

She's doing okay in terms of survival, but she's not even 30 yet, and she's already in the hospital all the time, which is crazy. I mean i'm in my late 30s, and I haven't seen a doctor since I was a teenager, and I used to be an addict, and have 8 years clean with a wonderful life now, although I wasn't homeless, and that does take a lot out of someone. I mean Kensington is a very tough place, so I get it. Most people don't last long being addicts out there. She really needs help soon and to get out of there. Even if she doesn't overdose for a while, she could have have so many other problems and health issues. I hope she goes to rehab and makes some changes. People die out there all the time.
I never heard about a Georgia to Maine 7 month walking trail either. But at 14:45 Amber said the funniest thing I ever heard her say... She said, "7 month walk? Ohh hellll no. WHAT?! What wut do you just camp out, go to sleep and wake up and walk? No no no!" 😂😂😂
I didn't either till I got to watch Taylor the Nahamsha hiker on TH-cam a yr ago or so. It's for someone healthy, has support if something goes wrong and bucks. She stayed in places along the trail occasionally to get a good meal and sleep Their called hostels like motels She did sleep and eat while hiking but sometimes weather doesn't permit or a slight injury.

Before I listen to this Amber interview (which should be interesting). I'm gonna give you my thoughts on Mike a.k.a. Drones R Eagles. To me he's just a fast talking hustler. I studied this Drones guy just so that I can try to understand him. And all he does is complain about needing money for HIMSELF & for HIS FAMILY. He even complained about how his adult daughter doesn't have money for tampons. Mal a.k.a. AML Films has never sat on his camera talking about how he needs money for bills, a car, a place to stay, food, etc. Mike also has an Amazon Christmas Wishlist for all 3-5 of his kids. But all I see him doing is more taking than giving. The guy has the skills to work and he's using his skills to work people for DONATION MONEY THAT HE POCKETS UNDER THE DISGUISE OF HELPING PEOPLE STUCK IN "THE KENSINGTON CRISIS" P.S. He has a million hustles. He even has a website where he sells his so-called blessed crosses. Another thing.... is he really homeless? TH-cam pays him. So how can he make a video with the title: I'M HOMELESS HELPING THE HOMELESS (all he wants is money & attention).
drones isn't homeless, he doesn't stay in a shelter.... you can tell from his home videos... he stays in ashley's section 8 housing. he's a real oil snake salesmen.

I've been watching his channel for about a year. There is not a single video where he doesn't talk about "haters, trolls, drama..." And you can tell he just LOVES talking shit and gossip. I hate to say it but they need to be much more strict with these addicts/drug dealers because they are destroying people’s homes/neighborhoods. It’s so sad to know the innocent children have no choice and aren’t thought to be good enough for addicts/drug dealers to stop using/selling drugs while they walk by or to clean up after themselves ( just leave their drug paraphernalia everywhere) something drastic has to be done because being nice isn’t working.
It seriously angers me to no end! Can't run out on your own lawn in your bare feet anymore 😢 or let your children run through the sprinkler like we used to be able to.... dirty needles and broken glass pipes everywhere!
I noticed shes yawning a lot and having trouble taking a deep breath. This same thing happened to me. They need to check for a Pulmonary Embolism. They did ekg, x-rays and all on me and found nothing . Almost sent me home, until Doc ordered a test called D-Dimer. Came back positive turned out I had multiple clots in my lungs. If you see her again tell her to go somewhere else for a second opinion.
She’s an addict they won’t run a bunch of tests on her. The last time she was in the hospital they released her with out doing very much . Addicts in and out they do the basic care with no insurance
I hope she gets clean stays clean and is a good looking woman possibly be a model if she changes her ways Time is on her side but the quicker she changes the better.
Jeff, you have an open heart. You are doing the best you can. Your want to give kinship and shed light on our brothers and sisters in K'ton is something I admire. Maybe you need time for yourself as well. I know just because you are not going to video for awhile does not mean you will not be helping how you can, one to one. Let me reassure you. Neither Mike, nor any of his family are behind this account!! *Period* * * I've been a quiet subscriber of Jeff's channel since the beginning. A few months back, DRE showed up in my YT recommendations. I watched quietly there too, until I couldn't take his lies, hypocrisy, and drama anymore. When he started all this nonsense between Jeff, Mal and himself, I started digging online into his past. After reading up on Mike's ch*ld m*lesting past, 'Anita' was born. I would totally understand why his family would want to have nothing to do with him. But to expose the things I've exposed about him on my channel?!? Not sure exactly why he said they would do that to him?? My initial reaction was it was yet another diversion tactic on his part or way to try to discredit me.

@BriarEsquire, there is no reason that he can't work. Many people work with limitations if he indeed has limitations. He's a grifter and wants to live off other people's money. I honestly can't believe people send him money. I've seen people say they live on a fixed income and send him donations. Jeff, someone dropped a comment about you hiking the AT. Its a huge undertaking. Taylor the Nahamsha hiker did it not long ago. Being able to afford it is a concern i never thought about. She stayed in theae stops near the trail (motel rooms), pricey. Sometimes ate and stayed overnight. Also her family was her support sometimes meet her give her money or brung fresh clothes. Im not sure anyone could do that entirely alone.

Thanks for doing that! I give locally but, these days, I can’t afford shipping. I think about what these folks would like all the time and I’m glad someone got Amber a coat she needed and likes! When I was on the streets and got something I needed AND I really liked it, that was the best day EVER! I still remember when someone donated a bright yellow coat I got, when I was 19 and expecting my daughter. Not only did it fit, it was really warm and my favorite color! Another year, I got an ankle length down coat. I was walking and taking the bus all the time and I don’t know what I would have done without it! Grateful to be 6 years in recovery and be able to buy a long down coat this year! Hope it’s warm, when it’s -30 degrees Fahrenheit, like the donated one! Someone stole my coats out of my storage unit last year, so not everything has changed, but at least I can replace them, now 😊! I remember whole strings of years when I didn’t have a winter coat, so what you did for Amber is HUGE! Much love ❤️.

I went cold turkey off of all opiates and xanax. I did end up seizing and going to the ER, so it is possible. Not so sure about the tranq though, that crap wasn't around then, thank God!!

Well you can obviously stop opiates by themselves, but it's very rare people do, and you will absolutely be sick and miserable to the extreme. The horrible feeling of having no more opiates is one of the main reason for crimes. I mean came off methadone and fentanyl cold turkey and have 8 years clean in March. I was on these opiates every day for over 12 years at least, as well as alcohol and cocaine at times, but opiates were the main issue. I was fed up, moved out state, and had no where to get drugs. I felt like I was being tortured for at least a month with withdrawing, and regretted it almost every second. I didn't sleep at all for a month, except for micro sleeps for seconds at a time. Methadone withdrawal specifically is NO JOKE, it's next level serious and torture. That said, looking back i'm extremely happy I went through it, even though I would suggest tapering to all people trying to get off opiates, but i'm glad because it's now over and I will never have to do that again. My way was crazy, but I was desperate to just be done with all drugs. I now live in my beautiful home with my beautiful family, and things could not be much better. I have come a long way, and have achieved a lot since I got off everything. Basically 18 all the way to early 30s all I ever wanted to do was get high. Now my health and fitness is top notch good again, and I workout every day, as well as meditate for the mind. Those things are very very useful and positive for anyones life. I actually hope my long story inspires someone else to get clean if they happen to read some of this. Anyone can do it in my opinion if they want it badly enough.
Amber is an enigma. She is a pretty young lady, but her lifestyle is taking a toll. Lately she’s been going to the hospital quite often. Lord knows she’s well known by the staff there as in “…you know, the addict with the dollar signs on her face…”. She’s typically high when she’s being interviewed which makes me believe that’s her normal state. Even still she’s witty so she has a natural intellect. I feel sorry for both her and her family. I truly hope she holds to her promise to go to rehab, and soon! Going now may be her only shot at ever finding anything close to a normal, reasonably happy life. Living hard takes a heavy toll. Please do it Amber, while you’re able bodied enough to have a successful recovery and future life. It’s time!
Yeah, having to the hospital all the time is a bad sign. Addicts usually avoid that for a while, but once their body gets to a point where they have to go there all the time because of mounting problems then that's a serious problem, especially when you're out there and continue to do this. She could overdose as well. She likely doesn't have long left in her life if she doesn't get clean or make improvements on some level. Lets hope she gets clean and improves her life. I'd like to see her clean and happy one day.

Hi Jeff...as someone that had a decade long heroin IV problem and 3.5 years clean, it makes me really happy to see someone else with past substance abuse history get clean and then care enough to help others. You can't get a masters degree in this stuff, and so many people that go through it never make it out. It's great to see someone take the rare opportunity to spread their knowledge after overcoming this battle.
Wishing the best for Amber, I hope you find a solution this winter and are able to get out of the cold. I also really hope there will be some new medications and treatments available to help combat this new wave of drugs. It's a scary thought that suboxone and methadone won't work for withdrawal from tranq. This creates a huge problem because most people won't make it past the first day.

Jeff if you can do a documentary on Kensington I think the big question is how Philadelphia has allowed it to turn into such a hell-hole. The addicts themselves have made their choice, I never believed that drug addiction is a disease, anyone with a disease would do anything to get rid of their condition and once they did would never want the disease to return. It's just not the same with drug addicts.
Your "belief" has nothing to do with whether or not addiction is a disease. Unless perhaps you have performed some scientific research on how addiction impacts the brain (or doesn't in your case) that only you are privy to......is that the case? That must be it. You're one of those "did my own research" types aren't you??

I was a heroin addict for over 10 12 years and I quit without 12-step programs or rehabs or detox and that worked for me, but those programs in Florida are just a cash grab and you can't escape yourself. You do have to escape everybody that you're currently talking to though but at some point or another you're going to have to make a choice to not be triggered things people or places and using those as excuses to keep using because they're all just excuses you're using because you have unresolved trauma. You may not even know what that trauma is, but this is how your body is reacting it is very real and you need to sort yourself out
I was using H for 10 years.....on subs for 5. Amber has an awesome personality and still young and beautiful. She can do just about anything that she wants to do.....if you can survive in Kensington you could do just about anything that you really want to do. Most people don't realize just how hard it is to live one day as an addict. It makes you a warrior but it keeps you in handcuffs at the same time. I wish you the best Amber...love to see you get out of there !!❤

I know at least 4 people who got off methadone by tapering down and never did opiates again. I have a crazy crazy story where I came off methadone, fentanyl, and coke cold turkey on purpose after 12 years of daily use. I have 8 years clean off everything, and live in my beautiful home with my incredible family now. I moved out of state to where I could not get anything on purpose. Methadone cold turkey withdrawal is absolute torture though. I was being tortured for at least a month and regretted doing it the whole time. I yelled, moaned, and cried many times. That said, I'm very glad I did it looking back, since I am now off it for good and my life is in order. So many people really really struggle to get off though, congrats on getting off methadone successfully. If you really want off though then you'll get off, that's what I tell people. Never go crazy and do it my way. Taper down, and most people say it's not bad at all tapering, not until you get low like 5 to 10mgs, then you'll feel it a bit.

She's doing okay in terms of survival, but she's not even 30 yet, and she's already in the hospital all the time, which is crazy. I mean i'm in my late 30s, and I haven't seen a doctor since I was a teenager, and I used to be an addict, and have 8 years clean with a wonderful life now, although I wasn't homeless, and that does take a lot out of someone. I mean Kensington is a very tough place, so I get it. Most people don't last long being addicts out there. She really needs help soon and to get out of there. Even if she doesn't overdose for a while, she could have have so many other problems and health issues. I hope she goes to rehab and makes some changes. People die out there all the time.
I never heard about a Georgia to Maine 7 month walking trail either.
But at 14:45 Amber said the funniest thing I ever heard her say...
She said, "7 month walk? Ohh hellll no. WHAT?! What wut do you just camp out, go to sleep and wake up and walk? No no no!" 😂😂😂

I didn't either till I got to watch Taylor the Nahamsha hiker on TH-cam a yr ago or so. It's for someone healthy, has support if something goes wrong and bucks. She stayed in places along the trail occasionally to get a good meal and sleep

I'm gonna give you my thoughts on Mike a.k.a. Drones R Eagles. To me he's just a fast talking hustler.
I studied this Drones guy just so that I can try to understand him. And all he does is complain about needing money for HIMSELF & for HIS FAMILY.
He even complained about how his adult daughter doesn't have money for tampons.
Mal a.k.a. AML Films has never sat on his camera talking about how he needs money for bills, a car, a place to stay, food, etc.
Mike also has an Amazon Christmas Wishlist for all 3-5 of his kids. But all I see him doing is more taking than giving.
The guy has the skills to work and he's using his skills to work people for DONATION MONEY THAT HE POCKETS UNDER THE DISGUISE OF HELPING PEOPLE STUCK IN "THE KENSINGTON CRISIS"

I noticed shes yawning a lot and having trouble taking a deep breath. This same thing happened to me. They need to check for a Pulmonary Embolism. They did ekg, x-rays and all on me and found nothing . Almost sent me home, until Doc ordered a test called D-Dimer. Came back positive turned out I had multiple clots in my lungs. If you see her again tell her to go somewhere else for a second opinion.
She’s an addict they won’t run a bunch of tests on her. The last time she was in the hospital they released her with out doing very much . Addicts in and out they do the basic care with no insurance

I've been a quiet subscriber of Jeff's channel since the beginning. A few months back, DRE showed up in my YT recommendations. I watched quietly there too, until I couldn't take his lies, hypocrisy, and drama anymore. When he started all this nonsense between Jeff, Mal and himself, I started digging online into his past. After reading up on Mike's ch*ld m*lesting past, 'Anita' was born. I would totally understand why his family would want to have nothing to do with him. But to expose the things I've exposed about him on my channel?!? Not sure exactly why he said they would do that to him?? My initial reaction was it was yet another diversion tactic on his part or way to try to discredit me.

Jeff, someone dropped a comment about you hiking the AT. Its a huge undertaking. Taylor the Nahamsha hiker did it not long ago. Being able to afford it is a concern i never thought about. She stayed in theae stops near the trail (motel rooms), pricey. Sometimes ate and stayed overnight. Also her family was her support sometimes meet her give her money or brung fresh clothes. Im not sure anyone could do that entirely alone.
