Normally - well years ago that I went - it's about 18°-20° during winter (when the sun is out, which is almost every day). We always went from mid December till the first week of January. Good memories, I must say.

I'm 53 seconds in and sold. See ya later ireland. I'm about half way there money wise, my staffie is going to love it but he will miss the bog here in Ireland one of the only places we can let him off the chain to run wild but im sure I'll find good spots for him to go crazy out there too

now is even nicer there. more bars and skydrapers. if you go there. do not stay just in the town real treasures are behind the city. out of it. you can go just by normal roads, but there are also paths done by homies and they take you to the best places there where is nobody and you are in small spot completely invisible for others or you find small beach, cliffs for jumping into water. water is crystal clear. 30 meters visibility are nothing impossible. small fishes swim around in numbers of 500. you have feeling that you fly in surreal cosmos. beware water even without wave can be strong there and take you 50 meters in 10-15 seconds in some places. but i have had better diving there then in india and in india are corals.
also try trekking views towards alicante or opposite site when you do not see city just nature are like from western movies dollars trilogy.
edit: also do not rely on money. a lot of things you can enjoy for less if you just use your own initiative, like snorkling instead of diving and so on. sleeping outside is completely possible no problem. benidorm is pretty save no so much pickpockets there like in barcelona. stil you need to find your spot for comfort but hell yeah who do not like camping just without tent? you avoid excess cost for expensive hotels and shops chains (similar to tesco) are straight on beach and you can shop there food higher quality for less then in uk. 60 cents for plastic bag of olives, baguette from 50 cents, fruit tasty as hell, tortila 1 euro, beer without alcohol (or with) small can is going from 25 cents in some places and so on.

@@petervlcko4858 all sounds great, my plan is to go on adventure and explore all over the island instead of staying in a town. Like you said look around and find a spot right for me. I'll definitely be shopping in the markets and trying to do most things that don't cost money. When I get out there I just want a happy simple life nothing over the top. Peace of mind is most important to me now material things don't do it for me, but a beautiful place like Costa Blanca will definitely help with piece of mind

many people are moving there because of the cold winters in north europe, alsom many people go to school there. But i agree that it is a little sad, but this is the modern world.

On the coast line the weather is very mild due to the mediterranean es influence, but once you go further inland (just 40 min away) you will realised how cold it can get and how often us (locals) see the snow during the winter.

Because these people have 0 interest in our culture. Arrive in a country with one of the best cuisine in the world and stuck to your 'deep fried stuff' is offensive for us

british food is not bad but when you compare it to spanish food is like food from canteen to food from restaurant. do not be fooled most of the british restaurant in london still cook like canteens or fast food. by restaurant i mean sort of home cooking taken to another level. like soups made of broths, cooking is not assembling of semi prepared ingredients like in london restaurants usually is, but honestly cooked from fresh fresh whole food ingredients like was normal before or like families do to safe money.

That's what I always said, until I went. Its a wonderful place, stay in the Old Town loads of Spanish bars and restaurant's. The beaches and streets are cleaned every night. nothing like the run-down, rip-off, unfriendly, dirty Blackpool you are comparing it to.
