I had a guy on my team (complete rando) who was marking everything, best Tactical Air Controller I've ever had on my team. This dude guided me down to the target EVERY time I came back around for a pass.

Flying isn't hard (being a WT player helps) it's seeing the ground, clearly. I cannot stress this enough; mark enemies. It takes half a second to do and strafing runs can be the difference between a win and a loss, so ground/air cooperation is essential.
And if you mark a tank you get 15 points when destroyed. If marking is still active.

the entire game suffers from a lack of communication AND from people not understanding how these kinds of fight are won.

Another thing to note about dogfighting: There's a reason why the turn time of aircraft is listed. You will eventually win a nose-to-tail dogfight if your turn time is lower than your enemy's as long as you also make sure not to crash into anything and keep your speed up.

Quick tip you can locate tank by their muzzel flash they make a huge light every time they shoot reviling their position
This was SO useful. I'v been getting a lot of joy out of taking out enemy bombers rather than ignoring them and trying to farm ground kills like probably80-90% of fighter pilots I see tend to do. BUT i had NO IDEA about landing gear or flap options or any of that! I'v been steering with my mouse and hating how slow I turned and griping about how hard it is to NOT fly past my targets even at my slowest speed when im behind them.

I have been the Bain of other fighters and infantryman as of late last night I wiped 2 or three squads because I got the wiped out achievement which is kill a whole squad of enemy infantryman in 5 seconds or less I got 13 kills in one rocket strike
On the subject of where to bomb, pulling up the map on approach can kind of give you an idea of where the front lines are and therefore where enemies are likely to be. Also, some maps with tons of buildings are almost a waste of time to fly in. You'll be much more effective on the ground.

If teammates would just mark their fucking targets planes would be way more useful regardless of what the map looks like
Make sure to ask for marks and please give them to others if they ask. A lot of the community is just sort of mindlessly playing so that’s fine but just check the chat
You can most time ask so much you want in the game... for the best, now you can deactivate your chat so that people dont even see it any more....
Nobody builds shit anymore either. How tf are we gonna put enough pressure on the enemy to advance if there's nor rally point to spawn on or any type of defense. People under utilize at and aaa defense buildings too.
I assigned marking to left mouse (same as shooting). So if I fire at an enemy a mark goes down.

Dang man I basically had everything down just from attempting to fly with no clue what to do. I just didn't have any idea about the stuff in the top left corner since the game is so dang intense. Also I'm glad to know that fighters and bombers are different categories, and that I'll just get it later.
Small tip, on dual engine planes dont center on the lead marker, aim a little bit to the left and right. Without engines/just 1 engine the heavier and slower planes will not make it far plus you have a high chance of starting a fire, single engine planes aim ever so slightly higher to hit the pilot and engine.

On first game with plane I crashed instantly while spinning. Now second game I got 27 kills with rockets

In Normandy campaign you have rockets on R
In other campaigns I only have fighters without rockets

planes are the bane of my existence, I hate being utterly unable to defend myself from constantly being bombed from above
That’s why engineer squads and flak guns are important

I really appreciated the tips given here since there is basically no tutorial for planes. I only knew how to use the guns and fire the rockets as well as moving the plane with the mouse, that was all. xD This will come in handy!
I was just practicing my flight skills, had to switch a few controls to ease down the complexity, but was still a challenge to aim right. But I think I'm getting better at it, all I gotta do now is test it out in real combat.

One tip if you want to start flying in Enlisted: don't use German planes, at least in Normandy campaign - they have some sort of armored glass (idk what it is) on the front - one tou see through to the front, that at most angles (talking about angles relative to the sun) behaves like frosted glass: you can't see (almost) anything.
Life flying the Bf-110 is rough. I kinda just spray everywhere and pray for the best.
Eh, I prefer the bf 110 tbh, at least for ground attack. It's difficult to see through the glass, but because it has cannons instead of 50 cals, you can generally strafe a contested point and actually get some kills since the shells have HE. The maneuverability of the 110 is trash tho and the p38 will easily kill it in the sky. That's just in my limited experience with both those planes tho, but don't underestimate the guns on the 110.

I can fly but there is a big disadvantage of having a shaky aircraft, so how to remove the shakiness in the cockpit? Should I max out the upgrades or change things in the settings?
I love the planes. And I have played a few games with these planes. But wow this game is a lot harder. And honestly I am loving it. Nothing more satisfying then seeing yourself getting better. Just hang in there people. If you know your going to lose the match your in. Use it as a training match. I hope everyone can get better so they can start having some real fun.
As a war thunder veteran of flying planes, driving tanks and forgetting ships exist, my advice is: set shift to pull up, left control to pull down, A and D for left and right roll respectively, and Q and E for yaw Left and right respectively, for battlefield players this binds may seen strange but let me tell you, most of the maneuvering is way better this way, specially when dropping bombs in a dive and pulling up right after, and the crazy maneuvers that you do with roll and yaw are not needed here as air combat is really rare.... (war thunder energy fighting i mean, but it doesn’t work when you don’t have third person view to have full control) but remember first roll to one side then pull up, its a better way to turn

Waht do other crewmembers in the planes do? If I die(the driver if the plane) i cant switch and i am completely dead and if i press z i cant switch either
And the ju188 a2 doesn't even have a machine gun but it dies show one on the back and in the front so is it just decorative or can I use them somehow

What is the description in control menu for parachute deployment? On PC, when I jumped of the burning aircraft, there is only a box next to “Open Parachute”. Please help! Thanks 🙏
Is there a different setting for the aiming reticle because I can never see the friggen aiming reticle in the P-38
When I tilt the plane with 'wasd' the area the mouse is stays stationary and the plane just seems to return to it, I can't turn tightly at all even when reducing throttle.

Dont worry! Bombing is like, 98% of flying. Even if you get shot down you can just go be infantry or something lol

I was excited when I finally unlocked a plane. I fumbled a bit but overall got through the tutorial unscathed. First real game and it was like the controls were entirely different and crashed pretty fast.
After that tutorial and one practice session in practice mode i can finally do some ground bombing runs i have fighter plane but im just shooting rockets at a c and e points and its working i get sometimes 0 but sometimes like 20kill with one rocket but i have one question when i get little bit down almost at trees level i cant control my plane anymore does not matter if i press s or look up or even slow down completelly it still goes down and how can i avoid crashing at this situation? I have one theory that i can just change flaps to take off and it would work but i have not tried it yet so i need your help
I'm on PS5 and noticed there is a super pixelated black crosshair on the A20, does anyone know if it's possible to turn it off like Quad has in this video? @10:43 for reference

I don't know if its a problem on my part, but my pilot has a seizure when I'm trying to fly the plane and it makes controlling the plane an absolute nightmare. Got any comments or suggestions on that?
also be aware if your only doing 200kp/h in a bf110 or p38 your about to hit stall speed....if your speed gets below 180 its goes to be super hard to raise the nose and by about 150 kph your about to stall out and fall out of the sky......right when your plane is going fast (which the meaning changes if ur in bomber / fight / attacker)....400 kph dive for bomber is fast..go much faster than that the air move over your tail and wings get stronger and thicker....there for its alot hard to move the controls surfaces, ailerons (roll control) elevator (pitch/nose control) rudder (yaw control)....meaning if you go too fast like 550 kph in a bomber its going to be super hard too pull out of that......the faster you go the earlier you pull out, the speed at which you can pull up changes depending on your speed....p.s the air does not push your plane down.....speed actually generates more lift but more control surfaces compression

do you know why the a20 fks out after 10mins? is it supposed to give other players a turn or something. its not overheating iv flew on 99 throttle an it still putts out.

Hey Quadro I wanted to ask you something about the flaps in combat mode, I have been playing as the axis for a long time in normandy and the bf g 109 always when I use my flaps in combat mode, they just like get destroyed even if Im not doing crazy stuff, a single turn and they are just destroyed and I dont know why, how do I avoid this?, also about to get friends to mark I tried and I dont know who I added I think It was a chinese guy, didnt speak english at all lol
if your flaps are getting destroyed you're probably ripping them off by going too fast. If your speed is normal then idk its either a bug or something weird with the Bf109

A-20 is my tank buster. Most people go for the hoards of infantry kills. I like to go after tanks which infantry like to hang around most of the time anyways. Like if you don’t have a team spotting for you or you don’t know where people are, you can see enemy tanks shooting their cannons from a long distance away and my advise is to home in on them. A vehicle kill helps the team by a lot (especially on invasion where you can potential save a bunch of tickets/lives) and yields a lot of xp. Another piece of advice: even though the A-20 is a bomber, make it your priority to keep other planes out of the sky before you bomb. Doing that will keep your 6 clear and leave the sky uncontested for your unrelenting bombing. About every game I end with 8-11 vehicles kills and usually top board with the A-20. Then again, I’m on console so idk how pc is with the whole plane situation.
The main trouble I have with planes in Enlisted is that the tail rudder seems to be made of rubber, in that all the plane does is swivel from side to side constantly. I play on PC with a regular mouse. Any suggestions greatly appreciated as I do like flying but CANNOT use planes in this game and I fly well in WT.
i fly very good in Enlisted...and have nice Multikills with the Rockets...but with the Bombs...no chance... i dont know where i must drop it to hit the point i want to... pls help :(

Guys do you know how to set higher drawing distances during flight? I set everything on max, still when get far away from map textures are blinking and I can't see shit... Have you any solution for that author?
You are becoming my inspiration to make a new channel and actually upload Enlisted gameplay. Whether it be sniping or not idk, probably just upload good games with minimal or no commentary. What do you use to record games? My GeForce experience only saves 20 minutes and thats not long enough I don’t think.

Hey i mentioned them! I said your combat flaps are for dogfighting and increasing mobility and putting them up helps lift so you do it when coming out of your run! Sorry that wasnt more clear!
@@HeyQuadro be aware that planes actually have an optimum turn speed... its incorrect too say that "the slower you go the fast you will turn" cos imagine alot players are go too stall there plane fall out the sky due to a lack of air speed, managing your speed is key, your flaps will help you turn tighter until your speed gets slow low that you lose the benefit of them..I.e dropping below your optimum turn speed......also be aware that turning your plane to tight to quickly (sudden sharp turns too fast, you have to ease on the pressure) will cause you too go into a flat spin (this is because you can turn so hard your ripped ur aircraft out of the air stream, like driving a car at 70mph then suddenly rotating it 90 degree sideways to the wind..its not gonna like it) and Enlisted does not have strong instructor to stop that from happening like war thunder its nearly impossible to flat spin a plane in mouse / pointer flight mode......it is in Enlisted
also i was having problems dog fights cos when i rotate my view, the mouse flight does not turn off like war thunder i set a key too turn off instructor....so when iam dog fighting now i turn it off so i can look all around and use my keyboard too steer without the point aim messing things up and its alot smoother with it off....i turn it back on to aim as....it was causing me to flat spin some times when shit hit the fan........and again i cant stress how important air speed is, if you have no idea how it affects the plane you have little hope.......there a saying i really love and its so true " altitude/height is life and speed is life insurance
p.s i say this in an informative manor free from arrogance as i've played war thunder for years on and off and realistic air battles was my thing, knowing your aircraft vs what your fighting was half the battle..knowledge is power right and as side note remember that not all fighters are dog fighters.....the Bf-109 and P51 mustang are energy fighters / boom and zoom fighters......gotta use your speed and alt advantage as spitfire would run rings around p51 in dog fight...fyi

I just unlocked the p38 today. I fly in IL-2 and its fun but in enlisted i can't use my flight stick, I can't leave it connected or the game spins out of control. I tested that theory on going to fast during a dive & yup, you're right about outcome. I went right into the ground. Twice lol. It may take me a minute to get use to the controls. Very helpful video. Thanks.

No I don't think you can
And trust me use the plane with only wasd is a nightmare
One thing you missed is jts always favourable to attack from above it is better for maneuverability, allows you more options, better for your kinetic energy and you can force the enemy down

sometimes i already looked around there is no enemy pilot, but when i started to attack the ground, out of nowhere, the enemy pilots just shows up and start shooting my plane, i try to manuvering and still, get shot down

You have to unlock the squads that use the vehicles for each faction. They spawn on the field in a vehicle.
