Now look at 43 which is closest to second number 49. So choose second number from the possible answers and which is 66. That's the answer.
In 2nd case 384 is closer to 400 naa....because the difference between 384 and 361 is 23 and 400 and 384 is 16 soo 400 is closer to 384....so can u explain me I can't understand 😔

I tried to find out for square root of 7214. With your table and method, I am getting 82 as answer and perhaps that's not correct.
Method works for numbers which are perfect squares. Your number is not perfect square.
