only thing that annoys me about this one and Great Mazinger is holding the swords, they don't hold them secure.

Awesome review!!! Did you ever get the belt on or are you just never going to display him with the belt?
i realized when editing that i was doing the belt upside down but even rightside up it would scrape and leave paint on the finish cause its like sand paper
so no, Im not dosplaying it with belt...however...dammit just thought of it right now...chest extends out for more articulation...maybe thats the trick?

gregformercy yeah, this should have had the whole set. I mean whats that going to do, increase it by like $3? the original full set was selling for 800 yen when it came out so you know its cheap
I absolutely love this kurogane edition! Got mine today and the pain job is really good. Plus it has the wings already included which is a really good bonus since the orginal one made you buy the wings separately. I don't care for the other recolors, but this is a good piece to have if you didn't buy the original src version.

I feel the joints on this are tighter than my other src mazinger z. But I'm controlling myself not to play with this or else the joints will still get loose. Also I'm really pissed with Bandai's move to issue the mazinkaiser skl with wings when I've already bought the 2nd version. They should have just sold the wings along with a Wingle figure.
Great review! Sadly, I had to sell my last SRC Great Mazinger but I did put this guy on pre-order when I found out it was on sale. I am a fan of the classic colors and the textured "iron finish" looked amazing in the pictures and thanks to your video, I know it is amazing. Thanks!

Mann! it's like jewelry. ..you gotta love the attention to detail and materials used by some Japanese manufacturer. ..is like they make sure they put out quality. ..only if it's was about 3x to 4xs the size...it would be perfect.

I wish mazinkaiser came in this paint style. I have the chrome one and for every second I spend playing with him I spend 3 mins cleaning off fingerprints.
the little PVC which attach on the scander is actually the antenna which upon scander launch it follows and align itself to Mazinger Z.
BTW the Kurogane finish is very cool. I had doubts on buying the a new Mazinger Z, but seeing the silver on the sides on his legs and arms gonna make me spend again.

Worse off, when you do try to get it in, his chin scraps against his chest scratching the kurogane finish. Great!

Great video. I'd like some thoughts. I dropped my Mazinger Z after i ordered him and lost the rocket piece on the head. I'm trying to find it on ebay but no one's selling it. I came up with a plan for me to buy the SRC Shin Getter 1 and Gettet colored Mazinger Z. I could give the axe to the Shin Getter and give the Rocket Piece to my original Mazinger. That sound good?
yup I want one but I think I will go with the one that comes with the big rocket punch for that accessory but this one that you review has a beautiful paint man has that sword but on the original anime he dint have any sword or maybe on old movie need to dig more in to that.

+rence r-23 well I was watching the movie of Mazinger vs devil man was cool but I notice that there is another movie and is call Mazinger vs The great Genaral Of Darkness and on that movie mazinger grabs a sword so it maybe from that movie refrences and yeah he gets a beating on that movie as well hehehe need to watch it do

Mazinger Z is the grand daddy of all super robots. And yes, this version is simply spectacular. A must have for any Mazinger Z fan. And of course... if you get this one, you have to get the Great Mazinger and Grendizer versions to complete the trio. Thanks again for your videos. My "to go" review videos whenever I want to get a new figure but want some reliable feedback first

Jesus bandai! How any times are you going to repaint the same figure! We have a Devilman color, a red and yellow color with a dragon painted on one of the chest plates, a getter robo color, even a Mazinkaiser SKL color!
Was the jet scrander given a different paint job too?
