Had the pleasure of playing this course back in September. Had a weather delay due to lightning (!). The clubhouse staff fed us sandwiches and warm drinks while we waited. Very organised -- ensure we got the whole round in. Awesome caddies. Holes 12 & 15 are spectacular. Such an amazing experience!
I played there in Oct of 21 and shot an 82 sight unseen and LOVED IT! It was freezing then warmed up. The halfway house food was awesome. I love 18 and parred it:)
Incredible looking course! It’s just a great reminder that the R & A should look outside the box a bit and choose some other venues. Not that the rotation is boring, but would be great to see some other venues, especially with all the UNBELIEVABLE seaside links they have, like Old Head, Waterville, Ballybunion, and many many more!
I think you're getting Scotland and the Republic of Ireland mixed up my friend. The R&A have never added an Irish course to the rota and I highly doubt they would. In the meantime we'll have to make do with a Northern Irish one at Portrush and hope they add one or two more in the future!
Can you please do Every hole at Los Angeles Country Club? It’s the venue for the upcoming 2023 U.S Open and very little is known about it to the public
I have been lucky enough to play it twice at a discounted rate, the 18th is one of my favourite holes. Only problem is the green fee is a rip off I’ve noticed it’s gone up to £418 in the summer no course is worth that much.
I’m sure it’s awesome to play. But an “Every Hole” episode highlights the wide view. I find the ubiquitous, super obvious earth moving very unappealing. It looks like golf land at Disneyland, not Scottish links.
Iona is a absolute gem. Fantastic installment GD!
Beautiful course. I would love to see a PGA tournament here one day
It does have the Dunhill Links Championship on the DP World Tour. Although that is more the relaxed fun competition

So so beautiful and excellently narrated
It was such an honor to play the course a year ago - spectacular layout and setting - and I hope some day to play again.....
I’ve played the old course twice , and many other courses around Europe and kingsbarns in undoubtedly my favourite .
played it in 2002 as a throw in course to our wonderful golf trip and we were amazed. Pebble of Scotland!
The overall experience here is unparalleled. Don't change a thing!
Sooo great!!! Love Iona!!! and great Course!!!!
What a masterful narration!
We need LACC for the upcoming US Open. Another incredible video!
I agree, no one knows about the course yet as it is super exclusive

This course looks stunning! What an amazing track!

@retrospective77 the open was a Scottish competition when it started what right does Ireland have?
Iona could narrate a root canal and I'd be hooked
Absolutely stunning
I loved!!!. 😍
Please do every hole at Spyglass Hill!
Perfect venue for LIV. Every hole could be the watering hole.
Looking forward to Oak Hill!

That course looks nice but definitely does not look like a “Royal and ancient” links course. It is definitely a modern style links course..
I birdied 8 w an insane putt I was up top the flag down below and I made the putt as soon as I hit it I knew it was going in!
I always think with the lowish drone, some holes look thousands of yards long
Was a 9 hole course, which fell into dis repair about the time of WW2?
Iona Stephen could read the phone book and I'd listen.
I just kept hitting these low cuts that ran for ever but it worked!!! Ugly golf but was happy w score
purdy course
15 put it in the water then hit one stiff 6 inches tap in bogey
Nice course but not a true links. Green fee is an absolute rip too

didn't love it, seemed a bit fake...amazing caddie though
