I'm a Liverpool supporter through and through but really appreciate this Arsenal Team. Fantastic football team to watch and Thierry Henry what a player!
They got applauded off the pitch at Elland Road after this (or it may have been the league game of this season). Something I'd never seen before.
This was a dire, decimated Leeds team, though.
Was at this game with my dad. When viduka scored we basically just pissed them off😂best side in Europe for 2 years and should have won the champions league IMO
Since the commencement of the Premier League, this Arsenal squad is not only head and shoulders above all but concurrently displayed the most exciting brand of soccer.
There is nothing much we can criticise about this Arsenal team. From defence to offence, you hardly see a flaw. They instantly could turn from absorbing pressure to counterattacking.
We see quality in every department. With exceptional quality in players like Patrick Vieira, Henry and Bergkamp, it is merely impossible that this team underachieve.

For me the 90s & early 00s was the last time of PROPER good solid footy that we had been enjoying since 1966 & with the actual ball dynamics still the same until... yes, that bloody ball they use now, filled with compressed helium! Ridiculous, once great goals scored are now two a penny. Its made the game ultra quick thus making tacklin' obselete, plus the top teams were still mainly Brit players, the end of the 2 foreign players per team by the Bosman ruling took 10 years to unravel contracts etc. Now its only 2 Brits in a team! Its just all Mickey Mouse & money money money.. I no longer watch it. I cry into my rattle! The real British football is now in the 3rd & 4th tiers old money, where teams are mainly Brit players with the odd Icelandic player! I enjoy watching footy from my 70s time to the 90s-03ish via TH-cam. Many thanks Souster98 for your contribution. Cmon the Don's Mighty Whites...

Why was Arsenal not wearing their red home kit, since Leeds are in white? It doesn't really matter where they are as long as the colors are not clashing. This is a mystery.
Because the shorts and shirts would clash.
