ASMR Vintage journal craft (No talking) Paper, tissue paper & birchbark crinkles/cardstock & cutting

- I gathered up craft supplies from around the house and decided I had enough items to create a kind of vintage looking journal of my own. I felt like a genius of salvage and creativity! (even if it isn't true) I used my own harvested birchbark (link to video below), tissue paper from giftshop, old cardstock from years ago, stationary from amazon & brown paper bags from previous purchases. Now I look forward to further embellishments of this project and someday using it for a special purpose. Any ideas?

All my life I thought I was a true weirdo for loving the sound of crinkling paper! hahahah.. I once admitted this to my son and it turns out that he's that way too, and he told me about You tube and yesterday, after such a long time since that conversation we had, I wondered on to You tube and I found this video! This is so relaxing to me, and I love vintage, and art and book stores, fall candles all these toasty autumn, pre-Christmas decorations, and you've hit the nail on the head! When I was little, used to love watching my mom organize her papers. She'd open up a dresser drawer, as I'd lie down by the edge of the bed with my little poodle beside me, and she'd be hours long working on her things, organizing, tossing out, reading through them, and every now and then speaking to me. I remember how relaxed that rustling sound of papers would make me feel. I longed to hear that again. Also back when we had rotary phones, and there was no 'on hold' switch in some offices, I remember I'd call for some information,, or inquiry and the secretary would tell me... 'please hold on a few minutes while I check that information for you' and then she'd lay down the phone on her desk, as she'd search through the papers on her desk and I'd be on the other end, listening to the papers, and thinking .. 'oh how relaxing those sounds are!' hahahah.. I honestly thought I was the only person on the planet that loved those sounds..lol...[so much better than elevator music.] Oh and how about when I was a teen, I'd go to the park after school to walk my dog. I'd sit on a bench and listen to the rustling leaves on the pavement.. All such sweet sounds in my memory.
Everything you have just said so beautifully, expresses exactly what I want to convey on my channel. I totally believe that nostalgia and childhood memories are what form our triggers. Not that we didn’t have that sensitivity already. Some children don’t, I imagine. But every single human being has good memories associated with sound just as they do sight, taste, touch and smell. How can we be weird just for enjoying our God-given senses? Thank you for sharing your story.

There are so many great things about this channel, from the natural ASMR to the charming aesthetic, but my favourite great thing about this channel is how you often make two versions of a video, soft spoken and no talking. Many thanks for that and for everything

I love your no-talking / paper-focused videos! The sound of paper, old books or crafting, it's truly calming! I also like it because it helps me to focus when I work from home. Music or talking distracts me, but your ASMR videos really help :)
I am exactly the same way! I never watch videos with voice in it. Or rarely anyway. I started this channel with no talking. I added vocals along the way because it was requested so often. And now I enjoy making them for those who have that trigger.
I love the no-talking as well. Some videos are so loud and annoying. They have people filming them live and the viewers are commenting and the camera person is interrupting with their comments. It is hard as a viewer to stay focused when you really want to learn something. I simply click off. Great journal, classy, well done.

One of my favourite video so far. I suggest using it to write personal and happy things. Something like a gratitude record. It's so easy to forget the good things and focus only on the negative one. So maybe this journal can suit the purpose of positivity and joy. You used items you care about so your creativity was certainly driven by love.

I had this in the background while I was working on an assignment, but I did glance at it every now and then! I really like the implementation of the birch bark! That's such a neat idea that I never thought about. I can imagine that it might be possible to write on it as well. Ooh, the texture of the bark! I can just imagine the feel of a pencil over it. I thought I was weird for loving the sound of crampled paper, turning pages of a book or notebook, or when it sounds so crispy after putting it on a tray with coffee to make it brownish aesthetic vintage and it dried.
